I went to Triton and worked there for a while. Compared to neighboring community colleges, Triton is run down. The instructors are mostly adjuncts who may be successful in their regular careers, but most are simply not qualified to be teaching a course. A huge rift exists between the faculty and administration, mostly because the administration doesn't involve the faculty in any decision-making. The president tends to run things like a dictatorship. more

Good Junior College 6/17/2006

Here is another place that is an option for those looking to get an Associate Degree (2 yr. degree). The tuition is reasonable and the area that the school is in is not a congested or crowded one. The facilitys are fairly modern and they even have a good radio station of their own. I listen to them sometimes in the car, it actually comes in fairly well. They are not far from Maywood Park and Kiddieland Amusement Park. more

great teachers!! 11/12/2005

I went here to college to take my early childhood education classes & my first aid class. Teachers are exceptional here and really take the time to explain everything,i never felt rushed. This college offers their courses at different times during the day to help meet your schedule and they also offer weekend classes which i liked alot. If i ever decide to go back to college this will be my first choice. more

Many Opportunities to Learn 8/8/2005

Triton College is a very good community college in this area. They have so many classes to choose from that you are sure to be able to find something that suits your needs. Even with all the tuition hikes in recent years, I think the prices are still fair. I also like how Triton offers many classes over the Internet, so now you don't even have to fight traffic or look for parking in order to enjoy the quality instruction from this institution. It is a valuable resource for the residents of this community. more
