huge slices 4/22/2009

The slices are huge, you could easily cut into two, and share with someone else, great taste. Only bad thing is how tiny the actual restaurant is, although there are picnic tables outside. more

My daughter and I truly enjoy going to The Original Brooklyn Pie Co. They have delicious choices, great big slices, and my daughter loves to watch as the chefs toss the dough and arrange the toppings right in front of you! more

The best pizza in Austin!!! 10/16/2008

This is the best pizza in Austin, the lunch slice is huge and cheap. You have to try this place! Order a large pizza and you will eat it for a week!!! Pros: Great Pizza Cons: Not much room to sit at lunch because it can get crowded. more

Only pizza in Texas 9/2/2008

I'm from New Haven, CT. Even the f!@#ing Krauser's, a quick stop type store in New Haven, has better pizza than anywhere in Austin. The Brooklyn Pie Co. on the other hand makes proper pizza with thin but substantial crust the way only us from the east cost seems to know is right. I was especially delighted that they put real good sausage and roasted peppers on my pie instead of microwave breakfast sausage and thin uncooked peppers like everywhere else in Austin has so far. Can't speak to the quality of their delivery service, finding the place was a little hard, I'm not used to this business of access roads, but the people were nice and the price was fair for a great pizza. It's NY in TEXAS! 8/22/2008

I lived in NY for years and love the pizza there but never found the same in Texas untill now. Give it a try and you will come back for more. They need arcade games to make it a home from home. more

Very good pizza. Would recommend that anyone try it. But is different compared to the chains. Was just in NYC about 2 weeks ago...very similar to the pizza stands and similar to Grimaldi's crust. Would go again..might not have it delivered because of the past reviews. Only problem is that the building is small..they have 2 tables and window bar seats (about 6) inside and a few picnic tables outside. Pros: big slice, good pizza, fantastic crust Cons: few tables, 60 cent toppings more

After we moved here from the East Coast we were able to find a couple of so-called ""pizza"" places, but we could not find any place that served real NY ""Pies""...until now! OMG, this place is amazing!! mouth-watering, delicious, and the biggest New York Slices you can get your hands on!!! If you drop by for lunch, sit back and get ready for a treat...and I dare you to order 2 slices! more

Great pizza 7/24/2007

I have bought (picked up) pizza from here (Round Rock location) a couple of times now. Love the crust! But the rest of the pizza was great also. Very generous with the ingredients and tasted very fresh. I like that they offer a white pizza. I was told they don't deliver so I don't have a comment on delivery or times. Would recommend you give it a try. I think it's better than any pizza chain around the area. Pros: Good pizza Cons: Wish they delivered to my house more

The pizza is really nummy, but 5 out of 6 times we've called they've been short delivery staff, or they don't deliver after 8PM on a Friday, or it's the wrong phase of the moon or something. Seriously, it's no longer worth the effort. We only live a couple of miles away, but the delivery times when they DID say they could deliver were up to 4 hours. For a $20 pizza, you'd think they could get it out :( If they're going to offer delivery, they need to staff up and make it possible. Pros: Great pizza, wonderful salads! Cons: Terrible delivery. more

This has got to be the best pizza in central TX. Just like the name, their pizza tastes like it's straight from Brookyln. This is true New York style pizza. Terrible Service 6/17/2007

This was a huge disappointment. Its Fathers Day and my dad wanted to try this place, so we called for delivery and they told us it would be 45 minutes for delivery, then 60 minutes later we call back to find out where the pizza is and they tell us that they don't deliver that far. Thats just bad customer service, I will never be eatting from this place. Cons: Rude and no idea what customer service is more

BEST PIZZA EVER! 2/6/2007

I love even thinking about their pizza - whole wheat crusts that aren't terrible (Mangia), real, fresh ingredients, like fresh mozzarella, feta, green olives, pesto sauce, delicious marinara sauce, fresh garlic, marinated tomatoes, and sausage - not your typical, run-of-the-mill, bought-from-sam's club ingredients. They have tons of specialty pizzas that are all wonderful, or you can create your own. Plus, if you go in and order by the slice, it's $5 for a slice the size of your head, but only if you have a huge head! They'll also bake the slice however you want it. Their salads are wonderful, and it's BYOB, if you go in. They're always nice and friendly and accomodating. And when you ask for extra sauce, they actually do it. It kicks Mangia and Lamppost's butts. I have to go get a slice now... Pros: I wish their chef lived at my house. more

Delicious! 12/6/2006

The sauces and cheeses used at this place are nothing short of fantastic, and the crust is the right blend of chewy and crisp. While I don't have any authentic Brooklyn pizza experiences to reference this against, this beats the hell out of any of the large chains. Great stuff, and friendly people, don't let the small size of the shop fool you, it's a hidden treasure! Pros: Quality of ingredients, and overall taste, especially the sauce. Cons: Price, individual toppings are a bit expensive. more
