Color and Cut 9/13/2011

I think my hair color looks very good. The hair cut was a little disappointing. I have curly hair and the stylist cut my hair and left it curly. Since she did not blow dry it, she did not have a sense of how long my bangs would be when my hair was straightened. I straightened my hair and had to cut the bangs the next morning. more

I experienced a little frustration in communicating what I wanted done. I didn't feel like my stylist really understood what I was asking for. The instructor did but initially the stylist did something else. The really positive thing was that we were able to address this and work through it and I ended by getting a wonderful hair cut that I am very happy with and have received compliments on. more

Great facial and hair services! 9/12/2011

I've had my hair color and cuts done at the Aveda Institute for the last few years and just recently got my first facial done there. Have never been disappointed--higher level quality service than anything I've gotten at a professional salon. The students are friendly and confident and the instructors definitely know their stuff. HIGHLY recommend! more

My facial from Nicole was so wonderful! I got compliments for the rest of Saturday, and am still getting some. My friend told me, "you can really notice a difference." I will be back to continue to prepare my face for my wedding in November. more

Facial 9/12/2011

I had a very relaxing experience with my facial. One thing that I found was missing was the use of the steamer for my face! Not sure why it wasn't used, it would have made my facial complete. Overall the experience was top notch! more

Good experience 9/10/2011

The student was near the end of her year of training, and showed confidence and ease. The haircut was good, but the student asked, "How do you like your new haircut?" a few too many times even before it was finished, so it seemed like she was fishing for a compliment or maybe just following some kind of script. But in general the experience was good, and I hope to return for my next haircut. more
