Just had another great haircut from Kevin Palmer at Taylor Jameson. Can't believe it has been almost 20 years since my first haircut from Kevin. Have loved everyone one of them....

Taylor Jameson is a great salon to get your hair done. Edgar, who is also the man that did my hair, is very polite and well mannered with his customers.

Look your best... 9/20/2011

I would never think of letting anyone else touch my hair! Kevin Palmer at Taylor Jameson is not only a color Artist, he always knows all the latest trends. I enjoy the professional yet relaxed atmosphere there. I know I can depend on Kevin and the salon personnel to give me everything I need to look my best. My hair has never looked better. Do yourself a favor, you will be so glad you did. more

Great Cuts 12/12/2010

I've been going to Taylor Jameson for ten years and never once had a bad experience. I called to make an appointment with Heather (who's been cutting my curly hair for years!) only to discover she's no longer there :( Does anyone know where she's gone? more

Excellent! 10/10/2010

I searched the internet looking for the best possible salon/stylist in Cincinnati. I finally decided on Michael. I am so glad that I did. He is amazing! All of my friends and family agree that I now have the best hair cut of my life. He is an artist at color. He used techniques to extend and improve the life of my highlights that no other stylist has ever mentioned before! He really is fantastic! more

It's one of two places I've ever gotten an exceptionally good haircut in this town ... and I've been here for seven years (a former, justifiably picky New Yorker). I'm especially glad they're right down the street! more

Great hair cut but big push for you to buy products. 12/31/2009

I regularly go to Taylor Jameson and have never had a bad hair cut. I've also gotten numerous friends and family hooked as well, all of which have had excellent cuts! All of the four hair dressers I've experienced there have been fantastic. My only complaint is the way they plug their products. It feels like I've stepped onto an informational. Taylor is the worst at this by far. On more than one occasion she's stopped my hairdresser in mid-cut to make them "practice" their pitch on me. Unbelievably rude. I would expect that at the Aveda school but not as a paying customer at a professional salon. A friend of mine refuses to go back after the same thing happened to her. However, the important thing is you'll be sure to get a great hair cut at a decent price so it's worth the sales pitch. more

Five words that changed my life: Michael Sparto. Taylor Jameson Salon. I have had my hair cut at probably every salon all over the city. Mitchells, Paragon, Pump, many Aveda Salons... etc. I have paid more money than I'd like to think about on hair colors, highlights, and cuts. I wish I would have found this charming young man sooner!! Everything from the consultation- finding exactly what I wanted, to the shampoo, to the final blow out- was incredible! My color pops, my cut lays and moves just right, and I am very excited for the 'me' time I recieve every (about) six weeks! The first time with a new stylist can just be lucky but after a time or two- you can see how they really deliver! It just keeps getting better! more

Aubrey does my hair sometimes twice a week, and she gave me the most fantastic hair cut i have ever had, she continues to be the most professional and friendly hair stylist i have EVER had, i love the way she does my hair and it was fried when i went to her, but not anymore!!!! I would advise everyone to ask for Aubrey when they call Taylor Jameson, she Rocks, and has a fabulous personality! Nobody will ever do my hair again as long as Aubrey McDaniel does hair, trust me she is the best and i've been to some high end places. Pros: Gave me 2 awesome haircuts and colored my hair more

For a really Good Haircut that people will notice 5/5/2009

I usually see Heather I've been going there for about a year. She talks to you to be sure she understands what you want. She mostly cuts with a razor and does and excellent job of it without leaving your hair thin or damaged. It's truly a precision cut. The layers blend properly. If you bring a picture of a style that is not suitable for your hair she will tell you outright, no holds barred. I have thin hair so some hairstyles just won't work for me no matter how much I'd wish it could be so. I end up with a hairstyle that people notice and compliment me on. Complete strangers have come up and asked me about my hair.\r The setting and the conversation are very casual among stylists.\r Having read other comments I am not really worried about the conversation in a salon so long as I walk out looking good. I've never heard anything said that isn't "PC". Have fun, lighten up, enjoy yourself and look good! more

Taylor is Great! 11/23/2008

After many disappointing and expensive cuts I tried Taylor Jameson. Taylor understands hair-an understatement. i go in once a month and she undercuts the top layer to give more body. AS I am going through a thinning hair cycle her expertise is great! I tried one of her associates but Taylor is def the best of the design team.Thanks!(and the products are great-smell terrific and perform as advertised). more

non petrol-chemical hair products 11/22/2008

I - along with 42 million others - am very sensitive to gasoline (petrol) based fragrances and products. Unfortunately (even the most expensive) almost ALL of our commercial fragrances, shampoos, lotions, conditioners and all sorts of hair products contain 96% petrol-chemicals - enough to kill a horse after years of use! - I booked an appointment with Taylor-Jameson because of the reviews. On arrival I smelled fragrance and sat down - fully expecting to be overwhelmed by the usual headaches, nausea and bone aches. - Well surprise. After around 15 minutes of not becoming ill I just had to ask WHY I wasn't getting sick. - I was then thoroughly briefed as to how Taylor Jameson is very unlike other salons. They research and find product without dangerous petrol chemicals. Sheer Genius. What a novel approach - first doeth no harm to customers and/or employees! Their products are botanical based (plants) rather than motor oil based. What a difference intelligence makes! My other delight was more

Robin is gone!! 11/12/2008

I tried to make an appointment with my girl Robin and they said she was gone!! I did some research and it turns out that she is at salon concepts in oakley on madison road. I believe her suite number is 15. I just thought I would let those of you looking know. I loved Taylors place but I cant let go of my Robin!!! more

I love Heather! (but of course... not in THAT way) 11/5/2008

My husband and I have been seeing Heather now for almost a year and she is just wonderful. I love how my color and cut looks... it has taken a few years off and I feel like I've got a bit of style again after many years. I recommend her to anyone! And hey, Taylor, if you are reading this... give that girl a raise! ^_^ Pros: The atmosphere is very youthful and modern with lots of fun magazines and things to read. Cons: Neighborhood is a little creepy, but there is usually street parking available to it's a short walk. more

I went to Taylor Jameson after getting a bad haircut elsewhere. I'm not a picky customer by any means. My requirements are that it needs to fit my curly hair and be easy to maintain. My stylist was Aubrey and she was amazing. Everytime I went back, she would cut it differently and everytime it would look fantastic. Too bad I moved out of Cincinnati! more

Best Haircut for me EVER! 4/23/2008

I have curly hair...not the kind that easily turns into perfect ringlets, but the kind that curls on some parts of my head and not others, and is extremely thick. It is usually very difficult for a stylist to layer it without giving me visible layers, or the "Christmas tree" effect. I have even had stylists refuse service! I was so afraid of a bad hairdo that I had neglected to have my hair cut for a year. Desperate, a listened to a friend's advice and visited Robyn at Taylor Jameson. She took one look at my hair and knew exactly what to do! She layered my hair with the curl, which gave it needed life and bounce, and the layers released the curl, allowing my hair to curl more uniformly. Now, fixing my hair is a snap! All I have to do is wash it, add some Eufora product (which is the BEST I have ever used, BTW) and go. On a special occasion soon after Robyn cut my hair, I blew it out straight and curled the ends with a curling iron. It looked fabulous! It was the first time that I coul more

This is a relaxed and very casual salon which nonetheless maintains strict standards of professionalism and service.\r \r I would highly recommend looking into setting up an appointment with Robyn, who has cut my hair at least three times using stylings of her own suggestion which have never failed to leave me pleasantly surprised and totally content. \r \r The mod-yet-multi-cultural deco in the salon is very pleasant and refreshing. A great place to go, hands-down. more

Heather is perfection! 10/10/2007

I have been going to Heather for over 3 years. I always feel I get her undivided attention when it comes to my color and cut. I have enjoyed super service and the end product is always sleek, sweet, and creative. Taylor Jamison (the salon) has great pride in their service and products. I have recommended her to friends and they too have found great service that they want to stick with. I have trust in her. more
