it was a nice place 1/3/2010

I have been coming here now for a year. the food is fantastic, the best breakfest around but beware of Jamie. She was a lose canon, rude and i left there feeling completly offended. When I went back 12 hours later to talk to the owner, she was still there (belive me I know what it is like working long shifts). She wouldnt let me talk to the owner, saying she is going to call the police if I dont leave now. I was there to talk to him regarding her. She dosent want me to make a complaint about her to her boss. so this is what I was left with, to post DONT VISIT IN THE MORNING, or you will be judged. more

This Bar WAS A Nice Place 9/20/2009

I used to go to this bar once in a while, but last night I was told that I couldnt come in unless my neck tattoo was covered. My arms are completely done and that was ok! But the inch of tattoo coming out from under my shirt couldnt show, screw this bar. Not to mention they raised all prices on their drinks. Theres plenty of other bars that are nicer, cheaper and dont have clowns working there. My advice dont go there!! Cons: Discriminating clowns and expensive Drinks more

I love the ribs 5/15/2009

I found the place about a year ago and it's one of my favorite places to hang out. The food is really good, the service is great and the people who go there are cool! I'm not kidding TRY THE RIBS!!!!! Pros: good drink & food more

Got Character??? 5/21/2008

The World Famous Tartan Room has nailed the concept of ""Old School"" tavern style drinking. Where else can you get a cocktail ~ and a mean one at that! ~ for only 3$??? At anytime of the day... 6 am if you wish! The atmosphere is very appealing with pool tables and a juke box... and the food! The food is yummy: you've got to try the Eggs Benedict ! Tartan Room is a fun, local tavern where you can always expect to have a good time. And who doesn't like to be served by friendly~good looking staff? Check it out, and after awhile it just may become the place where everybody nows your name... Pros: Hot bartenders, great prices, good times! more

BEST BAR IN TOWN 4/8/2008

i dont know where this Staight bar only thing came from.... but i know everyone there...and i know they serve gay people....ALOT...cause i know the ones that go in there....if you like to have fun..go here...the food is good..the people are funny...and the drinks arent watered down. and as far as the singing goes...dont talk about it if you dont have the nuts to do it yourself. Clean but..... 4/5/2008

Has been getting a bad 'rap' lately. Many friends did go there to relax however, just heard that one of the bartenders (female) refused to serve a female patron because she was 'Lesbian' saying the Tartan Room was a 'straight' bar.Maybe time for new management...or new bartenders! We never encountered this before at the Tartan Room so going back tonight and will keep you informed. more
