Not much else to say.. best donuts around, period. if you are from Santa Clara or nearby, you already know this. If you haven't ever been to Stan's you are really missing out! ...

Yummy! 10/24/2005

This shop has been voted "best donut shop" by San Jose Mercury News and it really is. Krispy Kreme doesn't come close to the taste and quality and the price is as good or better. They're great either straight from the fryer or cooled down a few hours later. They'll take orders the day before, if you need a dozen or two for a meeting. If you don't reserve, you might find them sold out for the day or have to stand in long lines. At the east end of the mall at Homestead & Kiely more

Stan's Donuts 8/17/2005

Ever since I "found" Stan's Donuts, I can't not go there at least once a week. Their signature glazed raised is a slice of heaven. Hand rolled and cut, these donuts are about 2.5 times the size of Krispy Kremes, better tasting and cheaper. Fresh out of the fryer, they melt in your mouth. They only make a limited amount of dough every morning and will close around lunchtime every day. On Fridays, expect a long line out the door if you don't preorder your dozen (or more). more

The best donuts around 6/18/2005

A donut (or two or more) from Stan's is the perfect way to start the day. This is what a real donut should taste like, and there is no such thing as a bad donut or bad experience at Stan's. The business operates like a well-oiled machine, with a good variety of donuts available. They do occasionally run out of a particular type (usually glazed), and then you will see the line form, but they are worth the wait. more
