I really enjoy Barefoot Coffee. The Barista know their stuff, and really care about the product they put out. The drinks are just great. You can order anything from a sweet caramel latte (like found at the major chain places), to a serious coffeegeek machiatto and everything will taste wonderful It is a great place to hang out. Also great place to pick up some roasted coffee for making espresso at home, or for just making a great cup of coffee at home. I bring my daughter in with me and everyone there is always so nice. No matter how busy they are, they always make you feel special. They also give back a lot to the community via various programs such as the housing consortium and the San Jose Ballet.

Safeway has all quality stuff. This Safeway is in a good location and is one of the better Safeway's. It has great products and there is even a Starbucks in it. I regularly shop here for vegetables and fruits.

This Safeway, in fact the whole shopping center, is too big for it's britches! The whole Rivermark area is becoming over populated and there simply isn't enough parking to hold everybody. In fact, the only time you can shop at Safeway easily is in either the wee hours of the morning or late at night.

What is better than hot chocolate on a cold day? Starbucks makes the best vegan hot chocolate, although they do charge extra for soy milk (unfortunately). This location is on the corner of San Tomas and El Camino. Jamba Juice is right next door. It has its own parking lot and you can only exit going south east on El Cam.

In my opinion, Starbucks makes the best vegan hot chocolate available, although (unfortunately) they do charge extra for soy milk. I don't drink coffee so I can't comment on theirs. They also offer wireless access, which you can try for free but have to pay for on subsequent visits. I, personally, don't find the environment condusive to working.

Starbucks makes the best vegan hot chocolate available, although (unfortunately) they do charge extra for soy milk.
I don't drink coffee so I can't comment on theirs. This location is in the big shopping center with Albertson's and Longs. There is a pizza place next door. The decor is standard Starbucks, and not very warm.
