I just had my car repaired by Auto World and would recommend them to anyone! I have been searching for a reliable car shop for 5 years and finally found it. I called around to get a estimate on repairing an intake manifold, Auto World was $100 less than the AAA Car Care Service estimate. Plus, Sonny took the time to explain the problem. When I took my car in, I actually had 4 separate issues that I wanted them to look over and he fixed him all in one day (e.g. the intake manifold, fan speed issues and a SMOG check). The best part was that he also had my car washed by the time I picked it up. It's like a new car! I would highly recommend Auto World.

I was in LB, my daughter is a student at SCU. I told "Sin" I needed the car smogged. He said it would be 45 bucks if there was no test failure. There wasn't and it was 45 bucks, just as he said. Very satisfied with the honesty.

When I heard that Marvin started up his own shop, I was enthusiastic about the opportunity to have someone work on my car besides the dealership. I was looking for a more cost effective and personalized approach to some major work that was needed on my 911. I had known him from a previous dealership where he worked. On my first visit to the shop I was surprised by the professional and orderly manner in which business was conducted. He was very careful to detail out the work required, researched the prices, talked to me about other work that might be discovered and estimated the price to complete. Not only did he meet the quoted price which was significantly less than what the dealership would charge, but performed additional work that the car required after discussing it with me. Marvin is a very personable individual, very detailed in his approach and meticulous with his work while offering value pricing. I can highly recommend and will certainly be returning when needed.

We've been using Foreign Affair for at least 10 years now. Their knowledgeable staff is always friendly, service is consistently good, and it's great to have a service history on file. I'm glad that they wash my windows with a regular service. I wish that there was an afternoon shuttle service. Service prices are probably on the high side, but knowing that I have a reliable garage has influenced my decision to only buy a Honda or Toyota cars.

We went there to get our Honda Accord repaired that had been rearended badly. The staff was corteous and we were treated nicely. The estimates were good and timely. After the work was approved by our insurance company, it was done and completed in a professional manner. Some honda and som after-market parts were used, but we were told about everything in advance. No surprises. The trunk was damaged badly, but you cannot tell that by looking at it. The paint job was also done right. We were satisfied.
One other goos this that there is a car rental company just next to it, so if you want to rent a loaner, it is very convenient.

I was there in 2007 right after the new management had taken over. I had a coupon for $11.99 which included exterior and interior. I was sold into buying up for $24.99 which would include waxing and floor mat shampoo. Guess what? They refused to do the floor mats saying it was never part of what I paid for. I should have not gone back there after that. I went back again after a year (today) thinking I just got a bad deal the last time. I had the $11.99 coupon for exterion and interior. The giy tried to sell something else and I politely refused. They do a job that's not bad (wouldn't call it good either) with the interior and the exterior but refuse to clean the wheels saying that's not included. Every single car wash in Santa Clara county includes the wheels in their exterior wash but these guys are just bent on ripping you off.

THIS TOW COMPANY TOWED MY CAR FROM A PARKING SPOT THAT I HAD THE RIGHT TO BE IN. UPON CALLING THE TOW COMPANY, I WAS GIVEN THE INFORMATION OF WHICH I WAS TO HAVE/BRING WHEN PICKING UP MY CAR. THEY GAVE ME A TOTAL OF HOW MUCH I WOULD HAVE TO PAY AS WELL.
WHEN I WENT TO RETRIEVE MY CAR, THE TOTAL THAT I WAS GIVEN OVER THE PHONE WAS INCORRECT- THE PERSON FAILED TO MENTION THAT THERE WOULD BE OTHER CHARGES FOR "STORING" MY VEHICLE.
THEY NEED TO BE MORE CLEAR WITH THEIR CHARGES AND NEED TO BE UPFRONT WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS.

After my warranty period ended a year ago, I was in search of a new service center. My check engine light had been going on and off for a couple weeks, so I did a search (local BMW chapter) and found Ray's. I was able to get my car in the next day and get it diagnosed. It was quickly determined that it was probably a camshaft sensor failure. Ray and I chatted before about what the possible problem was and he nailed it! 45 minutes later and $350 lighter, it was done. I can't imagine what it would have cost at the dealership with their overblown prices. I also know that I would have to leave my car there for the day. I was in and out in about an hour and a half (ate lunch and read my Roundel). On top of that, Ray gave me a lovely parting gift: a nice coffee cup. Highly recommended.
