EVERYTHING IS NICE GOOD FOOD NICE PEOPLE . BUT THE CIGARETTE SMOKING IS BAD ENOUGH SOMEONE WAS SMOKING A NASTY CIGAR . I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO GAG ON MY FOOD. MY GIRLFRIEND AND ME LEFT AND WE BOTH SMELLED LIKE A DIRTY OLD ASHTRAY. WITH THE TREND BEING TO QUITE SMOKING I CAN NOT SEE WHY THEY SUBJECT THERE CUSTOMERS TO THERE SECOND HAND SMOKE . Great Bartenders-ready with a new drink as soon as you're done. Also, very friendly and accomidating. They make you feel so comfortable. The food is very good, too, try the fresh made-to-order burgers or, when they have it, the goulash - yum! The Stables is clean, well run and has great bar food. This is a bar women can feel safe walking into alone. Stables has two sets of customers. During the day they cater to the lunch crowd and a group of regulars. At night there is a younger crowd, the music is louder and the atmosphere changes completely. Most customers are from the area and have been coming to the Stables for a long time. It is a good place to meet new or old friends. They keep a close watch on the beer to make sure it's always cold and the place is very well ventilated. Cigar smokers are welcome and there is a good selection in the humidor behind the bar. If you are looking for a friendly crowd, good burgers and homemade soup with different specials each day, try the Stables. You won't be disappointed.
