We went out for a girls night out and had the most perfect car, driver, and Razz himself beat the lowest price. It was the most amazing night. The car was warm when it arrived, the driver was wearing an up-to-date tuxedo. We were treated with the utmost respect and we really felt like royalty!! Again and again we would use this wonderful courteous, and prompt service!

We just spent 4 days at the Marriott hotel in Livonia and want to congratulate the staff on making my son's wedding party feel @home. There was nothing they wouldn't do for us and I would recommend them highly, also their breakfast and brunch is to die for served by a great and accommodating staff . Okay, after experiencing the terrible Royal Motor Inn and Gemini Motel the night before (see their reviews), I found this nice hotel and was told it was $40 for one person per night so I checked in. I was hesitant at first because I was used to being able to park in front of my room up till now and have easy access to my car and the items in it but it was WELL worth that small inconvenience. It has a huge king-size bed, is an immaculately clean room thanks to the delightful employee Angel and her crew, all-day coffee, complimentary continental breakfast--cereals, juice, danish, toast, muffins, etc, and a little room to the side where you can take your food and drink and read the daily papers they provide, the young night clerks are as friendly and pleasant as can be. There is plenty of parking, Internet service included, washer and dryer on site, a gym, business conference room, banquet room, computer available in the lobby if you didn't bring your own, close to everything in Livonia, easy freeway access, did I leave anything out?? Oh yeah, microwave and refrig in the rooms (new ones, not old beat-up looking ones), a table and chairs, large TV with cable, a coffeepot, hair dryer, and plenty of linens. I encountered a guy who said he has been coming here for a week's stay every year for 20 years. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit. I am on the 4th floor--no problem with the elevator. The only disadvantage is the smoke smell does drift in from other rooms or floors (this is supposed to be an all non-smoking floor) but that happens everywhere I have found. The Quality Inn down the road looked nice but was $20 more per night so I'll stick with this place. They also have weekly and monthly rates but those customers stay in a separate building owned by the same people (used to be the motel next door). So if you are looking for a great motel with great service I highly recommend this place! Happy travelling!!

I stayed there a couple of nights with my boyfriend. It is definately a budget hotel...but it is decent. The bathroom and room was pretty standard. However, the room we stayed in had a jacuzzi in the main part of the room, which was a very nice feature. The staff was very nice and accommendating. The continental breakfast was basic, but good. There is also a restaurant nearby, which is nice. I don't think that it's the best hotel in the world, but I wouldn't mind staying there again.
Pros: Not expensive, jacuzzi in some rooms, continental breakfast
Cons: basic amenities, hotel rooms could use renovation

This is a regular "rroach motel"--stay away from it! The guy claimed he was giving me a "deal" but it was the same price as the very clean Day's Inn I ended up staying in the next night (and over a week total). The room looked old but cute when I first walked in but I noticed a lot of dust on the counters and proceeded to use a washcloth to dust it off. When I went to rinse the now very dirty cloth, the water came out BROWN like diarria and the hot water faucet didn't shut off right--just turned around in a circle. The water did clear up after it ran awhile but who wants to brush their teeth in that?? I figured if the room was that dusty the bedspread was probably dusty too so I removed it, revealing dead spiders and brown stains on the sheets! Then the TV had no remote and wouldn't turn on and the ice machine didn't work. The floor was filthy and there were thick spider webs full of dead insects in the corners. I decided that was IT, removed my stuff from the room, and checked back out. The worst part was their nonchalant response when I politely explained the problems--they said, "But you were getting it for such a good deal, you can't expect it to be deluxe". They were not upset or chagrined to hear how bad it was, didn't offer any sort of apology, just sent me on my way. See my reviews of the Gemini ("No-tell") Motel and the wonderful Days Inn to hear the rest of the story!
Pros: none
Cons: Owner manaqger didn't care if the room was filthy
