I love that we can go to the zoo for an hour or a whole day and have a great time. The train ride is great. The shows are entertaining. In the summer there are plenty of places...

I can't go to any other zoo now. St. Louis Zoo is free, and it's so great. It has historical buildings, and a wide range of animals. I never get the feeling that these animals are in misory. The conditions are very nice. Plus the whole place has a very educational theme. It is a wonderful place, and it's FREE! more

  • The Scene
The Saint Louis Zoo has more than 5,000 animals and is a leader in natural exhibits and wildlife preservation. Moreover, the zoo sponsors lots of fun events throughout the year, and it's free. Since it's in Forest Park, you can hit the zoo and then take a stroll through the art museum, the World's Fair Pavilion or one of the park's many hiking trails.

    The Experience

While you're at the zoo, there's plenty to explore. The zoo covers more than 90 acres, including the River's Edge, where visitors can follow a waterway and watch cheetahs, elephants and hyenas. Stop by the Living World where nature and technology meet for an educational experience.
