Great little store! 4/11/2011

Great Store! great meats, great fish, great flowers, i don't know what i can say that isn't great about this store, a man was helping me in the wine department today and I asked him his name and it was Mr. John Sendik himself! never thought id see such an important man actually working in his store, not in some corporate office, and must I say what an unbelievably kind man! I love the downer Sendik's and will for sure be coming back! more

Listen, there are other places to go that will better value you as a customer. It sure looks like there are strong family falues but don't let them fool you. Try to go there when John Sendik is not there, just trust me. BUT if you have to stop there for some silly reason I will tell you the only thing you need to go there for are the flowers. That is if the employees in the department are setting high standard like they did years ago when Grandpa Sendik was hands on in the dept. Overall, it's a place that fools you into believing false ideas about who they are as people, but does have food there. Pros: great neighborhood Cons: to many for the little space available more
