Ruth's Chris Steak House

50 bucks for a steak I could have cooked better on my own, at home, without the dingbat staff. And for 50 bucks, if you can't get the meat right, would it kill ya to have more going on with the sides? Glad my uncle paid the bill this time. more

I love Ruth's Chris, but this one in Vegas was a little lacking. The lobster bisque and onion soups were VERY salty. The steaks were a little bland. And the creme brulee was too heavy. It wasn't until 2005 that I found out that Ruth's Chris on Flamingo was open until 3am. Now, I find myself going there on each trip.\r \r One of the things to realize in Vegas is that after about 11pm, it becomes hard to find a decent restaurant. Most of the hotels on the strip only have bars and 24 hour restaurants open. I personally don't even think about eating until after 11pm when I'm doing the Vegas thing. So, finding Ruth's Chris open late night was a godsend!\r \r The steaks, sides, and desserts are generally very good. The last time I was there I had the salmon, which was fairly uninteresting, given the price, but I enjoyed the other items I had. If you have the money, you should get the bananas foster served table-side.\r \r Downsides: the location requires a drive or taxi from the strip. It's very close to Palms (which is a bonus to me). The last time I was there, there was live music, which was okay, but distractingly loud. Pros: Open until 3am, good food Cons: Not close to the strip more

i travel to vegas alot and i am allways looking for a great place to dine after midnight when i arrive from the airport,i should just allways go to ruths chris! open till 3:00am every night, prime steak! allways perfectly prepaired! never a dissapointing meal,great service great meal , you really cant go wrong. Best steak I've ever had. A classic steak house and they do it to perfection. Outstanding service, great food and be sure to have the Asparagus. Enjoy the live Jazz music and classy ambience. At the Vegas one we had the steak and the combo platter, mushrooms and the shoe string potatoes. We skipped the salads so we could finish the meat. As always it was a very enjoyable meal. This location is a bit of the ways of the strip but well worth the trip. Cons: Not on the strip, everything is extra more
