LOVED Ruthie's!! 4/27/2011

Our experience at Ruthie's has been great food and great service! We are very picky about Mexican food (Husband born and raised in Guadalajara) . His only complaint is the beans. He prefers his more of a mashed bean as compared to the whole bean. Theirs is somewhere in between. I LOVE they way they season their food. It's mild and not over done. My 4 year old gobbles it up!! If you are familiar with Tres Leches cake, theirs rivals my Mother-in-laws. (sshhh!) Keep up the good work Ruthie's! You are our favorite!! more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! 11/13/2010

Absolutely horrible! We were charged for three orders of beef fajitas because three people were at our table when we ordered for two! The manager refused to remove the charge and even took our leftovers from us (which we paid for!) We would NEVER eat there again. So disappointed to just move to Katy and see this is the type of restaurant out here. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the dozens of other GREAT restaurants out here!! more

Best Tex mex in Texas 1/12/2010

I wish I could give them more stars!! I absolutely love this place! We've been going here every Friday night for the last 6 years! The waiters are so friendly and usually remember exactly what we order! Sometimes we do change it up and it throws them off! The wait is never that long and the food arrives within minutes of ordering, even on Friday night! William is the manager and seems to know everyone that walks in the door! Now that's customer service! So whether you want a quick meal during the week or on a busy Friday night, I highly recommend Ruthies!! more

The very best mexician food in town 1/2/2010

William and his staff offer good food good service and a great atmosphere! My large family goes there at least once a week and have never been let down in any aspect. I recommend him highly to all my employees and I quite often after church see several church members there also. Pros: great service,great food Cons: have not found any yet!!! more

FAMILY FRIENDLY, AWESOME WAIT STAFF 10/14/2009

I love the food here. It is the best TEX-MEX I have tasted in the Katy area next to Los Cucos. My family loves this place and we eat there once a week at least. The wait staff is friendly and will remember you from previous visits usually. The food is delicious! The management is nice and courteous. My favorite dessert would be their fried ice cream. If you have got room left in your stomach, give it a try. You won't regret it. My family and I will continue to frequent this establishment whenever we have a TEX-MEX craving. Pros: Great food, excellent service, friendly management more

reasomable food, decent prices 9/27/2006

I like the pork enchiladas verdes. Carnita style pork in a green sauce enchilada with a radish slaw. Very good. Other items are standard Tex-Mex fare, nothing to shout about. Pros: pork enchiladas Cons: can be noisy more

Average Mexican Food at Best 6/10/2006

We went there at lunch during the week and the food was ok, not the best not the worst. The service was ok.... when the waiter could understand us (no english). For the most part I would have to be in the area to eat there again. No special trip just for Ruthies. more
