Extremely impressed and extremely HAPPY! I was so sure walking into the Russ Darrow Honda dealership on Brown Deer Rd., would result in utter let-down and disappointment. To my surprise, my experience was a complete success! Not only was the welcoming staff professional, friendly and moved with urgency, but my sales experience was Great and I got the car I had dreamed of, literally! I am pleased and excited to say that not all dealerships are the same and I can speak from experience as I have driven 3 Hondas and I'm on my 4th. I was looking to getting into a smaller car, which i saw the flyer for russ darrow honda in the mail, i came in and spoke with nancy, oh, she was very helpful, i was on my lunch break when i came in to see her, nancy gave me a sheet of paper to fill out, i took it with me and filled it out, called nancy and made appt. to come in and see what car i can get, we did numbers and found the right one for me at the monthy price that i can pay. i drove the car home same night we did paperwork. i will come back for my next car here. My experience with Russ Darrow Honda was wonderful, friendly managers, salespeople, and an overall warm and enviting experience. I am not very familiar with cars, so it was wonderful to have things explained to me in a manner that I could understand and be familiar with. My sales person was Walter Thomas and he did a wonderful job contacting me, keeping me up to date on the status of my qualifications for a loan, while the other sales people were friendly and helpful as well. I would most certainly reccommend Russ Darrow in Brown Deer to family and friends and look forward to driving my new car for many years to come. more

Cyd Sobczak was my salesperson. He was the best! He treated me with respect, courtesy, and knowledge of his product. If he didn't know the anwser to a ques., he would ask another resource or look it up. Cyd will have a bright future in any profession he chooses. I did not buy a Honda Odyssey for 2 reasons totally unrelated to Cyd:\r \r 1. Cyd's manager would not give me a printed copy of a lease quote. Instead I was told to return to the dealership and talk in person. I had previously visited 3 other dealers and they all had a hard copy for me within 10 min.\r \r 2. product- I found the 3rd row of seats to fold down with some difficulty, more than I wanted. Another manufacturer was easier. more

ust wanted to bring to your attention the outstanding customer service I continually recieve by your sale representative, Dale Hansen. I am very delighted to have had the pleasure of dealing with Dale during all of my Honda purchases at Russ Darrow. His professional and courteous attitude and expert knowledge, and patience in handleing my specific issues were very important to my complete customer satisfaction. He has also been very accomodating and super freindly to my wife and daughter, as they have normally been along during the purchases.Hondas are obviously vehicles, but the tedium of purchasing any car can be a very negative factor in the excitement of acquiring a new vehicle. In the past , I have always felt that car sales people were not sensitive to my needs and always seemed to merely provide the most convenient and profitable soulotion to my requirements from their perspective only; but not with Dale Hansen. During AND after vehicle purchases, Dale always handles my issues as if they were his own, and I am always completely satisfied. When the time comes to replace our current Hondas, I will continue to come to Dale and look forward to patronizing Russ Darrow Honda, I hope that you will the thanks on to him more

They will rip you off with environmental disposal fee which is 10% of the total bill. When they give estimates they will not tell about it but when you pay at the cashier that time you will see the surprise. Cheating. I will never go there this was my first and last time. I didn't argue! more

Purchased a Honda Pilot in December. Promises were made that they would fix up the seats, never was done. Window was scratched and continues to scratch every time I open and close the window. They said they fixed it, there were additional scratches and the scratching continues. Since their total incompetent effort to make good on the contract, the vehicle has begun to fall apart. Auto locks don't work, back of passenger seat fell off, etc. They will ignore you when you call, will make little or no effort to correct the problem when pressed, and will outright lie to your face. I strongly suggest you reconsider if you are thinking about buying a vehicle from Russ Darrow. more

Everyone at the dealership was amazing at getting me the car I wanted! Especially Dale Hansen, who insured me that it was not only his pleasure, but his duty to help me with any of my automobile needs. Craig Sorbo also played a huge part in making sure that I could get the car I wanted, with very limited hassle. I cannot express how happy I am to have met Dale, and am very proud to call him my car salesman. He has a GREAT personality, sense of humor, and really has a passion for his work. Yes, I live within 5 miles of this place and I drive out of my way to get my car serviced somewhere else. My experiences have been so bad that I've decided to avoid all Russ Darrow dealerships. Basically, this place treats you like you're an idiot. I bought a Certified Honda from another dealership, and I needed a window switch replaced. I explained my car is Certified and it should be covered. The service individual tried his hardest to persuade me out of getting it fixed. He kept saying it probably wasn't covered - mind you, this guy has been working there a long time so he knows what's covered. I had to personally called the Honda warranty center (very nice people by the way) and was told that it was covered. I told the service idiot at Russ Darrow Honda that it was covered and to fix it. His reluctant sigh said he will do what he can. I am sorry for ever spending money there, and I am sorry for any person that doesn't read these reviews and decides NOT to go there - at all. I would rate a ""0"" score if I could... more
