Just know that if you want monogramming done and it is wrong because they made a mistake they will tell you it is your fault. The customer service is just plain bad. They could care less about the customer or fixing what is wrong. Just stay away and maybe they will do us all a favor and go out of business. more

I just got back from Rock Paper Scissors and the long drive home gave me enough time to get my wits together after being so blatantly disrespected by the girl that works in this store. I went in this morning ready to purchase custom invitations for daughter's birthday party this year. I was never truly greeted when I walked in, and had I not gotten the attention of the girl, I highly doubt she would have even acknowledged my presence. I explained to the girl (sorry, I never got her name) that my husband had already designed the invitations and that I only needed them printed. To me, it doesn't seem entirely complicated. She explained that it would be "too hard for the designer". Too hard for the designer?! It's already designed! I just wanted a square cardstock, but that would also be too complicated for the designer. Then she proceeded to tell me if they could cut the paper to my liking it would probably be "too expensive for me". I'm not sure what kind of profiling you are doing to their customers, but I have never been so insulted in my life. To be honest, I would be willing to spend anything for these invitations. I'm pretty sure this girl can't look into my bank account when I walk in. I mean, isn't the purpose of a store to SELL something? She never told me how much anything would cost, only that it was too expensive for me. All this means to me is that what I wanted was actually possible, but I clearly couldn't afford what I was willing to pay for! Then she directed me to Kinkos (ANOTHER STORE!!) to spend my money. I guess in her mind that's what I could afford. In the words of Julia Roberts from Pretty Woman: Shop assistant: Hello, can I help you? Vivian: I was in here yesterday, you wouldn't wait on me. Shop assistant: Oh. Vivian: You people work on commission, right? Shop assistant: Yeah. Vivian: Big mistake. Big. Huge. I have to go shopping now. more

Rock Paper Scissors has a great selection of cute paper and cards although the store is pretty small. They are conviently located in the middle of downtown Franklin and I always walk in even though I seem to forget what store it is every time until I am in there - the display drags you in. Their prices are high though so I see this as more of a place to buy a nice gift. more

Rock Paper Scissors has such great stuff, it almost makes me want to actually write a letter. Almost. What really happens is I buy cute stationery and never use it. At least my desk looks nicer. The store is located in downtown Franklin, a great shopping district. You can park and walk from one cool store to the next. Rock Paper Scissors is spare and modern, very Manhattanesque. They sell very upscale brands: Kate Spade, Poppy & Mimi, Woo. They do customized stationery, invitations and announcements, plus they sell writing implements and gift wrapping items. more

RPS is definitely our fave stationary store in the Nashville area. If you can make the drive to Franklin you won't be disapointed. They've got a great atmosphere and a great location right on main street in Franklin. If you are looking for customer wrapping paper, a full line of crane's paper, unique cards, or custom invites I would highly recommend RPS. We've spent plenty there and always been very satisfied. more
