Editorial review from Citysearch 12/20/2012

We cant say enough about this hotel & staff other than BOOK HERE. Comparable to Charleston Place for half the price, accommodations clean, food in Wentworth Grill piping hot breakfast or dinner, staff all around knowledgable, friendly & full of information of sites and area. We booked a package for a king suite which included easy parking right across a narrow street with superb complimentary breakfast every morning which can leave you full as a tick! Location is great, walked to historic shopping King Street full of Victoria Secret, Gap, Williams Sonoma, Talbots, Mens Clothiers, Louis Vuitton, shoes stores galore to name a few. If you're looking for an upscale special occassion hotel, something nicer than a chain Holiday Inn etc... this four star treats you like a five star hotel. more

Perfect location. 11/2/2009

Comfortable, well appointed rooms. Nice lounge. Good breakfast but go out for other meals. Walking distance to everthing, we never got our car out of the garage. Reasonbly priced, good value. Pros: Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Cons: Limited restaurant. more

My Marriott Awaits? 1/19/2003

I often stay at a Marriott property when I travel because they offer great service, affordable prices, and comfortable accommodations. This particular property is disappointing--the rooms are small and they are understaffed. The Renaissance is in need of some attention with respect to staff training and remodeling. It does, however, occupy a fantastic location. All of the attractions are in walking distance. more
