I used to work in a similar sized theatre in Florida and I'm always really impressed when I go to Columbus. You can tell they have an older building (especially compared to AMC 18) but it's always very clean and the staff is always nice.
It's definitely 110% better than sitting across the street at their other theatre at Pembroke mall. The reason they don't show ""black"" films is because people like to play the race card instead seeing the actual problem: they only have 12 auditoriums, so they're obviously going to get the highest grossing movies...regardless of what color the lead actors are. They never get scary movies or low-budget sequels either...
Also, FYI, I saw the last two Tyler Perry movies there, Miracle at St. Annas, and American Gangster all of which played at the movies for over a month or more before going to the theatre across the street (to make room for NEW movies...duh).
Anyways--you guys have really comfortable seat and I always have a good time there. I wish you would bring back Student prices during the weekend though! We're poor! :P
Pros: good management, really comfy seats
Cons: only twelve screens
