Great experience for our first visit. We were greeted at the door and seated promptly. The server was very attentive and knew the menu well, like you might expect in a nice Restaurant. I had the Snapper Opelousas which was well prepared and tasty! We all had something, all good! The Greek salad is a wonderful starter. We will be back! more

Stopped for lunch, they offer sea food and has a large selection of fresh fish on ice. Had the crab meat stuffed flounder. Very delicious. Further do they have a good offering of wines. more

Lunch with family was another home run for my favorite seafood restaurant today. Service and food were both A+. I had the Broiled Shrimp Grecque (Greek). My uncle said the gumbo was also good, and my Mom's fried shrimp was good as ever. This place rivals the most expensive seafood places. more

Stopped in for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. We were greeted immediately and seated promptly. Friendly staff. I had the baked shrimp with feta and tomatoes. I highly recommend this dish. Wonderful onions. Creamy shrimp served on spaghetti. Dear husband had the baked red snapper with rice. Our niece had a greek salad with shrimp. Food was excellent. Service was prompt and friendly. Fun lunch on the beach. more

This little restaurant in Surfside draws people from inland Lake Jackson, Freeport & Clute. The food is tremendously fresh and their dishes (including their non-seafood fare) are wonderful. Clean, well maintained building and friendly & fun staff. Definitely a MUST for visitors in the area. more

First time there. Nice place with a lot of ambiance. ""Cholula Snapper Fingers"" appetizer was really good, sort of like chicken strips but made from red snapper. Seafood gumbo was good, too. All of us enjoyed the food and experience. Will definitely return. more

This was our best meal of our week stay in Surfside. We wish we had come earlier so we could have come twice. From steaks to gumbo all was very good. Lots of fresh fish options too. more

I have been coming here for decades. Even as a child when I was a picky eater, there are plenty of amazing dishes on the menu. Be sure to try the meatballs if you're not in the mood for amazing fresh seafood. more

Amazing food. Amazing service. Amazing atmosphere.\r From the appetizer of feta & olives, the salad and to my entree of charbroiled shrimp & baked potato, the food was absolutely perfect. Our server was polite & attentive and the owner himself was the one who seated us & checked on us later.\r I would highly recommend Red Snapper Inn to anyone traveling in the area! more

This was our first visit to this restaurant. A relative had recommended it. The restaurant itself was nicer on the inside than expected and most people were dressed in a nice casual outfit. They give you crackers, bread, and butter before your meal. The bread was good. I ordered the fried shrimp and it came with a salad and baked potato. more

Great food and great staff! Good for kids and or grown ups. We really enjoyed our dinner of Bacon Wrapped Scallops, Le Grec (sp?) Shrimp, and my son loved the fried calamari. The owner, Lin, was super awesome! I highly recommend!!! We'll be back :) more

Excellent service and great food on recent visit. Had fried shrimp. Went back about two weeks later (last weekend) and the restaurant made a repeat performance. This time I had the stuffed fried shrimp (pictured) which was excellent. Also pictured is my son's fried shrimp child's plate, which he devoured, loving the tartar sauce. Had a large group and everyone enjoyed the food. Several complimented the salads, especially the ranch dressing. The salads arrive within 5 minutes after ordering. Waitresses are friendly, but professional and efficient. My parents, who live nearby and eat here regularly, say this place has continued to improve over the years, which I can believe. My favorite seafood restaurant hands down. more
