the food there is nothing special. never let anyone else tell you otherwise. What you are paying for is the atmosphere, and the idea of eating inside of the "rainforest mall wonderland" which is maybe worth going to once... for free. No one I know personally has ever gone to this place more than once, and i'm pretty sure you wont either. more

This place is great to go in and look around, go have a drink or dessert, but save your money and eat elsewhere. They have a huge fish tank that wraps around the restaurant and the animatronic alligator and the big elephant up front. The kids love this place and I must admit, I love the atmosphere too (the bar is a big mushroom with different animal legs for the barstools). The food is ok, but it is very overpriced for what you're getting. Veggie burger is my favorite, but its like $12. more

Rainforest Cafe is a great place to take kids for an adventure meal! There is so much to look at that sometimes the kids don't pay attention to their food! The food is good but that isn't why people go there -- it is for the atmosphere! There is a great little shop to browse through while you are waiting to be seated. There is also a large alligator that people watch move in and out of the water at the entrance. Overall, if you are looking for a place to take the kids to keep them entertained- this is the place! more

The food is terrible. The kids food (for $6 or so) is very simple microwave hot dogs, pizza, mac and cheese, pasta, burgers, and or nuggets. The adult menu is much more extensive, but not good. Pizza or a burger is your best bet here, and the drinks are awsome. So if you are not a foodie but want a nice place to take the family come here. You'll love all the attractions and the gift shop. Our favorite attraction is the alligator. Make sure you tell them you want to sit away from the bar (better view) and you can make reservations 24 hours in advance. more

Rainforest Cafe is a chain of excellent dine in resturaunts. This particular Rainforest Cafe is located inside the Grapevine Mills Mall in Grapevine, Texas. This is a smoke-free jungle themed restaurant that caters to children as well as adults. The menu features burgers, sandwiches, pasta dishes and salads. Their store sells Rainforest T-shirts, puppets, and other small items. The 'Jungle Theme' includes a huge aligator (fake of course) in a big pond of water out by the gift room, and big gorilla's (again fake) that beat on their chest and make noise, along with other micellaneous jungle type birds and such. Althought the food is soectacular and its all in all a wonderful dining experience, if you don't have the patience of money, this wouldn't be the place for you. It is so good, that you often have to wait as long as 2 hours for a table. But since it is located inside the Grapevine Mills Mall, they allow you to go walking around and/or shopping and they will page you on the intercom when your table is ready! more
