The Kimbell Art Museum is a huge museum that houses a wonderful selection of art. A lot of it is by famous painters and there is a section for Texas Artist also. The Kimbell gets many very large exhibits that travel the world and we are luckly enough that the Kimbell is world known and gets those huge exhibits. The Kimbell is set in a very lovely area of the arts district and allows you to stroll through the grass area before and after you go to the museum.

The Artful Bead is one of those stores that you go to when you are looking to make jewelry with beads and need something special. They have a huge selection of beads that are natural glass and stone. There are a lot of strings and wires to string them on. They even teach classes on how to make jewelry. This is a great place to go when looking for more than just the normal plastic bead.

Antiques and Moore in Arlington is one of the best antique malls around. They are a very large mall that is broken down into booths that are rented out to dealers. Most of the booths are antiques and you can find anything from primitive, victorian, to "modern" antiques. The selection is endless as you wonder up and down the isle. You are most likely going to find something that fits your taste with all the different items that can be found here. Each booth is priced by the dealer and they even run booth sales from time to time.
The tearoom is wonderful. They have nice teas and great food. They have a wonderful chicken salad and a sampler plater. If you go to Antiques and Moore, make sure you stop by the tearoom for a bite to eat.

Colleyville Terrace Retreat Salon & Day Spa is one of the most beautiful day spas in the North Texas area. I was so impressed at how friendly yet professional the staff was when I walked it. They took time to explain all the treatments to me and recommend what would be best for my skin type and to get the results I wanted. They are somewhat expensive but it is worth it for a day of pampering every once in awhile. I am looking forward to going back and having my hair cut there also!

I was impressed with the whole shop and how clean it was. They got me in when I so needed a hair cut and did a great job. They were quick and skilled at what they did!
