I had a wonderful 2 night stay in May, 2009 at this beautiful home... It was so peaceful and such lovely gardens in which to walk, sit, read, etc. Just a short walk to the historic district and it's shops and eateries, too. The owner/hostess is such a gracious lady who made the most delicious breakfasts.... oh, those buttermilk biscuits! She made me feel so at home here & my room was so large,spacious & clean, with large walk-in closet & refrigerator with water and soft drinks. The lower and upper verandas were great places to sit ( I loved swing downstairs) and could surf the net there, too with the free high speed wireless service. I felt very safe and secure there . And do hope I get to go back real soon !
Pros: delicious breakfasts/ gracious owner/hostess/ historic area

Took my family to Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine the week of Thanksgiving. We stayed in a Wolf Den. My 3 kids loved it! The lobby was decorated for Christmas and it was amazing! The indoor waterpark was a lot of fun too, but it was a little cool for my taste. My kids wore their pajamas down to story time and it was a lot of fun too.
All in all it was a great bonding time for my family! They even offered us half price rate if we wanted to stay the following day. We will definitely return!

The Gaylord Texan is huge! It is a giant hotel but its service isn't lost in its size. Great place for a staycation. Lots of amenities from the restaurants and the Glass Cactus on site to the historic Main Street area of Grapevine and the shopping and restaurants there to Grapevine Mills Mall to the Cowboys Golf Courseto Lake Grapevine and also hiking and biking trails. Definitely recommend it.
Pros: Tons of amenities and unique in size and feel
Cons: Parking can be a pain

This hotel is awesome! The rooms are always cozy and upkept and the service is quick and fantastic. The hotel is right in the center of grapevine, with easy access to grapevine mills mall and the bass pro shops and some fantastic restaurants. Highly reccommended!

I stayed in this hotel for about a week for a business trip. I had a room with a king size bed and marble and granite in the bathroom.
This is a really nice hotel. It has lots of restaurants, a river, and a convention center in it. There is a shuttle that will take you to the mall too.
I liked the turn down service where a maid came and put music on your radio and gave you some ice.
I liked the Riverwalk cafe's food the best. There was a salad bar and fresh fruit. In addition, you don't have to wait to get your food.
