I stay in the regency south condos. I have been in contact with DON once and his office now a few times. Every time i was told i would get a call back. Did I??? NO. Nobody has anything good to say about rage. Any post on here with 5 stars is nothing but hot air probably put on here by DON herself. Read on here that there are mold issues at the silverstone properties he and his company ""manage."" My unit and others here have a mold issue, but he refuses to address it. Cracks in my foundation, but apperently he doesnt care. only thing he is ""managing"" to do is ignore the people that need his assistance at his properties, that and he makes sure that those checks get cashed every month. The landscaping company isnt worth anything either. For the amount we pay for dues , i'd rather cut the grass in back of my unit myself. Not looking forward to this winter. Don't expect to get any of your calls placed to Rage Prop. MGMT. to be returned in a timely fashion. Secretary taking calls throws the ""while you were out"" notes in the trash. I agree with kaine7 when he says there is GROSS MISMANAGEMENT here. and i see one of his other properties has freshly painted curbs and parking spots. Must be nice. reformer says no bad reviews with BBB. They will when im done. more

GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND 8/2/2011

Rage Management goes above and beyond when lloking out for our property. We didn't have enough money to put a new roof on our building and he was able to get us a no interest loan. I wish he would take care of our problems in Washington we would all be better off.\r \r Why do people hide behind e-mail addresses. Check with the Better Buisness Bureau it seems they have no bad reviews. more

Thanks to Rage Management I have a designated parking spot at all hours of the day. While under the care of our previous management they did not enforce any parking rules that were stated in the by-laws. The old management company quickly towed cars and didn't compensate if they were in the wrong. The by-laws have been re-written by Rage and all rules are enforced and followed. The curbs have also been freshly painted with the come of new weather this year, which alleviates any confusion for anyone. If your car has been towed, dig out your decs & by-laws and REREAD the rules of the property. Thanks to Rage for going above and beyond what most management companies address. more

Rage management has refused to respond to reports of construction defects resulting in dangerous levels of mold formation in his Silverstone properties. His attempt to deflect negative criticisms by planting positive reviews (jermaine184) are an obvious attempt to deflect attention from gross mismanagement. more

They towed my car for no reason 12/7/2009

My car was reported as being flat so instead of contacting me first, they towed my car. EVEN THOUGH, my tire wasn't flat and I had all proper stickers in my car. Think twice about having to live under these association's rules. The cut my Christmas light wires and do not respond to complaints. BUYERS BEWARE!!! more

No heat for a week 4/10/2009

I called on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday explaining I have no heat. The plumbing company called me on Friday saying they just got the call that day from Rage. Rage Management is only good for collecting checks. They have no regard or remorse for anybody because they don't care. more

Don Rage's honesty and Hard Work 2/18/2009

I've lived at a location of his management for over 5 years, and I am grateful that I have such a hard working, and devoted property manager. People expect their phone calls to be returned promptly an hour after calling, and this is unrealistic. With a man working as hard as he is, it is impossible to return that many phones a day, while making property visits to take care of people's complaints. A possible answer to all of those complaining about his services-- buy your own house and take care of your own things. You'll quickly learn how things do not get done in 24 hours. He's always looking out for the best interest of the people living at his properties, and works hard at trying to save people's money while giving them the best service. more

Completely un-reachable 5/1/2007

Rage Management is one of the worst property management companies out there. Aside from never coming out to cut the lawn, shovel snow and provide halfway decent landscaping, they never answer their phone! They say they are there from 9-5 Monday thru Friday, but regardless of what time or day I call, I never get a hold of a live person. You have to leave a message and wait for a phone call to never be returned. It is as if they know how bad they are and how unhappy their customers are with them, they just ignore you and take your money every month. \r \r I have lived in my townhome for a year and regardless of how many messages I leave about how my lawn has been dead since day one, they have yet to come out and replace the sod (or even acknowledge my messages). In the winter, they use a bobcat to remove the snow on driveways and scratched the asphalt up. It is ridiculous that I am paying for them to damage the outside of my home. If you can avoid using them, I would highly suggest it. \r Pros: Nothing Cons: No responses to complaints, very poor service more

UNREAL ...... friday late afternoon Rage has locks on 4 secured buildings replaced.... without the knowledge or permission of the board members ! he gave NO information communication to anyone that the locks were being changed..... and then left NO keys to any of the 32 residents !!!!!!!!!! Once again this is a friday afternoon and no way to contact before Monday. When I went to report this at the site number a recording simply states office hours and refers to to an ""EMERGENCY"" number that is simply another recording that no on will hear till Monday. What kind of a reputable management firm thinks like this ?!?? Don Rage has been called many times from residents here about issues and 98% of the time he lack of communication is overwhelming. Most all calls go to voice mail and he seems to go out of his way to avoid returning calls. Of course if you have read any other of the previous notes you already know this is his mode of operation. If after reading this you chose to hire this firm for anything ... you have been warned. \r It's just one cowpie after another. Could not be worse!!! 1/25/2007

I can not put into words how bad this company is. \r \r Story 1: I was paying about 12% on my second mortgage and so I wanted to refinance. I called my mortgage company and they gave me a rate of 9%. I paid a $250 down payment to start the loan process. The mortgage company needed a ""condo questionaire"" form filled out by my association in order to complete the loan. The mortgage company faxed the questionaire to Rage and I sent a check in for $25 because that was the fee. The mortgage company never got the questionaire. After spending about 2-3 months calling them and trying to get ahold of them (me and my mortgage company tried calling them almost daily), I finally got someone on the line to talk to. I asked there where the questionaire was. They looked through thier records and said ""there's no record of a request for that, or you paying the $25"". I said ""look back about 2-3 months"". They said ""Ohh, we don't keep records that are older than 1 month""!!! I asked if it was on thier computer system. They said they only use paper, not computers.\r \r So by the time we actually GOT the questionaire done, the interest rate wasn't locked any more and it would be 11.5% which is not even worth me refinancing my house over. So Rage cost me the $200 down payment on my re-mortgage and $25 on the questionaire. \r \r Story 2: My wife forgot to renew her licesnse plate sticker. She walked outside our door to go to renew the sticker and her car was gone. Later, we found out that Rage had our car towed because our plates expired. $150 to get it back.\r \r Fed up, I decided to go to thier ""address"" in Elgin, IL and talk to someone in person to see where it said they could tow our car over that. After driving around for a bit, I finally find thier ""address"". It is an old beaten up blue door with a mailbox on it that says ""RAGE"". It's bolted shut and there's a steel bench in front of it. There is no ""location"" for Rage Property Management. \r \r I want to get to the bottom of this company. Pros: NO PROS Cons: Everything I listed more

Just terrible 12/1/2006

Does not answer phone calls, nor do they return calls. In the winter, our driveways and sidewalks are left untouched or dangerously icey. Yet, despite our complaints Rage continues to use the same snow removal company year after year. Makes one wonder. Pros: Relatively low fees Cons: Everyting else. more

I called Rage Mgmt because my heat was not working. They did not call the Repair Company until 11 days later. This is one of my many compaints about Rage Mgmt and their unresponsiveness. \r This company is completely useless. Cons: No one will answer phone or return calls more
