Have to agree with cheezeit....
I've been a customer for a year and have had only positive experiences at Karena's. I drive over an hour just to have Laura cut and color my hair because she's so talented and sweet. None of the salons in the Naperville area compare in customer service, as far as I'm concerned.
Pros: friendliness of staff, talent, value, never wait long

Trendsetters is a salon/day spa offering traditional hair salon features as well as nails, waxing, massage. Gift certificates are available. It is a very hip looking spa; great decor. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are a bit steep, but the end result is always great. It is nice to go and relax and get pampered.

Love the look, people are very friendly. I have never had a bad service here, but stopped going becasue they continued to raise prices for serivces beyong what I thought was reasonable and much hogher then what the rest of the market place offered.

quick, cheap, nice... what more can you ask for from a hair cut for a guy? I was in, out and done within 30 minutes. Not to say my hair style is all the complicated, but it was nice to be done and over and on to the errands i had to run. The stylist was nice and not overly talkative...which was good as I wasn't in the mood at the time.

In the past months both my husband and I have had the need for a number of services including CT Scans, Angioplasty, Blood Work, and Diabetic education classes. Every department was courteous and well tuned into the emotions and feelings as the various tests and procedures were performed as well as having a positive work relationship with the attending physician. The education staff was also great. No fluff- just dedicated care and concern with the desire to help the patient cope and be comfortable with their condition by providing clear and usable information. I would not hesitate to recommend or use Provena St. Joseph's again.

Sherman Hospital is Elgin's east side hospital. There are doctors office attached which is convenient. Support staff and lab employees are very helpful. The birth center is updated. Both of my kids were born there. All equipment is state of the art. Only problem we have had is long wait time in the ER (which is typical of any ER).

People's Choice has been around for years. The stylists are friendly, prices are reasonable. Andy does my family's hair. She has a wonderful personality and does a great job. She always gets my style just like I describe it. The salon is nice and cozy. Everything is very clean. Give them a try!

Dr. French at this office is the person to talk to about looking better. I've had cellulite on the back of my legs forever. 6 sessions with her Velashape machine and it is literally gone! I'm going back for photorejuvenation and hair removal in a couple weeks. The whole staff is great!

We love Colonial Barber Shop in Elgin, my kids have gone to "Dan" since their first chop.
My 9 year old loves to talk over the latest Cubs news, Dan is a diehard cub fan. And Ron, the station across from us, is a diehard Sox fan so there is always a rivalry of some sort.
I have found a gem in Kathleen, her coloring style is quick, professional, and comfortable. I am in and out of there in one hour and its my break away from home once every 6 weeks.
The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. There are even toys for the kids to play with while we wait. I won't go anywhere else with my kids.
