We booked this hotel because of the Radisson name. But it's no longer a Radisson (now the Charleston Riverview Hotel). And I know why - it simply does not meet Radisson standards. The hotel and the rooms are way past their prime. Our first room was so worn and musty that we requested another room. They moved us to the ""best rooms in the house"" and it wasn't much better. The rates were low, but I guess it's true that you get what you pay for. The staff tried, and were friendly and helpful, but it couldn't make up for the hotel's problems. The place needs a good facelift and better maintenance.
Pros: cheap rates
Cons: worn & threadbare, stale and musty, far drom downtown
