Only General Surgeon That I Will Deal With From Now On 5/16/2006

Dr. Alexander Saba is his full name, btw. I incurred an incisional hernia after my third c section in the summer of 2003. I actually believe that I left the hospital in Lawrenceburg with it, but I cannot prove it. Anyway, two years later, and I would eventually seek the advice/help from Dr. Alexander Saba of Queen City General and Vascular Surgeons in Cincinnati. His main office is on Kipling Avenue (Mercy Franciscan Mt. Airy Campus) off of Colerain Avenue (go past Banning Road; a CVS store will be on the RH corner; turn left at the light onto Kipling Avenue and proceed to Mercy on the left, less than a mile). His other two offices are in Western Hills at the Western Hills Medical Plaza, on Crookshank Road, and then he sees patients at the Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Office Building (1st floor) on Fridays; hope this helps). Dr. Saba was referred to me by someone who also had a hernia repair done by him, but of a different type. A guy at my church had a large hiatal hernia, which Dr. Saba performed surgery on. Both of these people who have had their surgeries performed by Dr. Saba have touted his excellence as a general surgeon. I wanted this guy on my team, and I felt 100% comfortable dealing with him and his staff at the first visit and beyond. He was very thorough in his assessment of my problem, told me his game plan (laparoscopic repair, not the open method, thank goodness), and he also used a pain pump. My surgical experience went well, I was, of course, hurting after the surgery because my body had to get used to the mesh, etc., I had a good follow up appt., and I recently brought something to Dr. Saba's attention which he is going to fix this summer (minor). I have absolutely NO qualms about Dr. Saba or his staff (his secretary is excellent about returning phone calls and communication in general), and I will continue to use this general surgeon in the future should there be a need for it. He is part of a 12-doctor group, by the way. Hope this helps! more
