Power Pro Plumbing Heating & Air

We just bought our first house. Gas company detected a leak and shut our gas down just before we moved in. The warranty company assigned a plumbing company (I won't name them here) who came in and couldn't find the leak. The technician thought it was likely in the pipes in the walls and that we'd have to cut into them. The warranty company went through their list of vendors and nobody would come try to find the leak. They authorized me to go outside their list. I was searching on a Friday and I called a dozen companies in Los Angeles. Nobody could come out over the weekend....until I came across Power Pro Plumbing. They scheduled someone for Sunday morning. (the receptionist was very nice and helpful, btw). They actually were available a couple hours early than was planned. Which was great. Erik showed up and before he even ran his diagnosis, he looked at all our appliances and his instincts were crazy good. He knew where the main leak was before even running his diagnostic. Remember, the gas company and the first plumbing company couldn't find anything. Erik suits up and starts doing his thing. Sure enough he found a leak near our main heater, as he predicted. He fixes that. Runs another diagnostic and detects another leak. He crawls underneath our house and finds the other one. He fixes that. Runs a final diagnostic to check and everything is good. No more leaks. Gas company comes that night and concurs--everything is perfect. We've been nice and toasty ever since. And all gas appliances work great. Erik was not only super smart and efficient, he was a really nice guy and sensitive to what a miserable situation it had been for us before he arrived. He really turned a nightmare into a big win and I can't recommend him and Power Pro Plumbing enough. Don't waste your time doing any more research. Just go with these guys and you'll be really happy you did. more

We were having trouble with the toilet and shower backing up. Fernando showed up in the evening on Labor Day Weekend. He returned the following day with a supervisor to scope the sewer line. A narrowing was discovered with a solution to dig out the pipe for $3000. When my wife refused, he said a $800 water jet would suffice. Again, we asked them to try and snake to the problem which they did not do. Finally, another service resolved the issue! On Mother's Day we had another plugged up toilet. After waiting all afternoon for a different plumber to show up and no show. I went online to foud this company. They were awesome. Isiah came out and unplugged our toilet. Then Michael came out w camera the next evening to see what is causing this to happen for the past few months. Found problem and made arrangements on getting it fixed the next day along w new toilet. Husband is handicap so we couldn't go and pick out best toilet so they did it for us. They were great guys and very helpful. Very pleased so far and will use them again for sure. We do appreciate that service was the same day. Your plumber spent over an Hour here. However, it took him 1/2 hour to put his suit on and 1/2 hour to take it off again and write out the bill. The job was to crawl under the house and put a new clamp, which is like a new washer, onto the waterline. This took him at the most 10 minutes. I find it outrageous to bill us $450 for 10 minutes of his time and he should be ashamed of himself to suck money out of senior citizens. Called Power Pro because of a leaking water main to the house. They responded immediately, within an hour, and tried all kinds of solutions before determining that a more major fix was required. Didn't really have time to shop around, we were basically without water, so based on other reviews took a chance on them. Well we couldn't be happier that we did. Our technician, Brandon D., was very courteous and took time to explain what was happening. Very polite and well spoken. Even though we kept interrupting him with questions, he always maintained a quiet demeanor and politely took the time to answer all questions even trivial ones. The work done was completed in two days and even overnight he made sure we had a water supply available. We have no issues with our on site service. The only minor issue we had was with the Power Pro club program. I was sent the form and had a few questions about it. I replied to the email sent with the application with my questions. I haven't received a reply in over 2 weeks. Needless to say, i did not join. The field staff is very helpful and responsive, unfortunately the office staff not so much.
