Best of Everything 7/18/2002

Downstairs there's the sports bar/arcade area with lots of TVs, upstairs a wild dance floor. And, there's lots of places to just hang out and grab one of the many beers on tap. The food is pretty good, too. Pros: Variety Cons: Parking more

Little crowded but lots of fun! 7/16/2002

Port O'Call is tons better now that they have the upper floors open. Everyone I talked to was decent -- didn't have the trouble with the bouncers that others seemed to -- so I can't comment on that. There were a couple of fights the night I went, but the bouncers were on top of them right away (guess some little frat boys need to learn to handle their liquor better.) All in all, it was a good time Friday night and I'll be back. more

This is for all the people that are too uptight to wait in line like everyone else and think their special because of their VIP status - QUIT YOUR CRYING. You people complain about the young hormonal males and the like-wise visually attractive females that are here, but remember, this is a CLUB! This is what young people do and if you dont understand this than maybe you should go back home to your 30 something crowd, sit on your back porch and listen to some oldies.... more

Getting worse 6/25/2002

I have always enjoyed myself at Port, but it is getting bad. The girls there are snotty and stuck up. They are not nearly as hot as they think they are. Note to ladies, not all guys are trying to pick up on you, maybe they just want to meet new people. Most of the guys are cool, but I am starting to see a lot of meat heads. You know the type that like to walk around in muscle shirts and act bad. The service is slow and the staff is just plain rude. I know that it makes a ton of cash, but what a sell out. This is why I stopped going to green street on Fridays. What is up with holding a line just to look busy, JUST LET PEOPLE IN!!!!!!!! Fun but Bouncers there suck! 6/24/2002

I really enjoy going to Port O' Call. It is a good place to go after work or the weekends. The only thing that bother me is the bouncers, one inparticular is a jerk on a power trip. But anyway other than that most of the bar tenders and waitresses are nice and customer service oriented. I would definately recommend it especially on Friday nights. Different scenes 6/2/2002

I've always liked Port O'Call because it accommodates so many types of people. The after-work crowd sits upstairs in booths and eats or listens to a band. Downstairs, there's more of a typical sports-bar scene with plenty of TVs--and there are lots of diversions for people who aren't into watching the game. The patio is a popular spot with everyone. Why #1? 5/23/2002

I would say the service is pretty good considering the vulume of people going through. My only concern is the quality of people, and the music... I have nightmares of this one big woman trying to wear ""the 5th element"" clothes. Ladies, some of us look better with our clothes on! 2.0 5/23/2002

This place sucks. I used to go here quite a bit, until the service staff completely screwed me. After drinking for 3 hours, my table of 5 guys had a tab of $160. We all pulled out CC and payed. After charging us all the correct amount, the server went back and voided all of the cards and re-charged my card for everything, without my signature. It took the so-called managers 3 weeks to finally give me my money back....and they still over-charged me by $3. The worst customer service I have ever seen.
