Great finds 9/8/2006

My friend and I went to Plato's Closet on a whim tonight. I had never been to this chain of consignment shops and was pleasantly surprised. All of their clothes are a good deal considering most are fairly new. I got a pair of Hush Puppies shoes for $5 and I'm pretty sure they haven't been worn because the department store sticker was still there. They had lots of jeans, and dress pants. Great if you are looking for something specific like black pants, because they'll have several styles in your size and at a good price. more

good concept, not so good place to buy/sell 11/6/2005

They are VERY picky about what they will take and I was actually shocked at how little they paid. I was not expecting to get a ton of money, but I probably could have done better selling my stuff in a garage sale. For used clothes their prices are pretty high. For a few bucks more I could just go to the mall and get all new. more
