It's obvious the discretion and care the proprietor of this restaurant has put into every detail of your experience here: nevermind how great and unique the food is - the place is a piece of artwork from the gorgeous glasses, thoughtful wine list, wonderful ambience, and carefully crafted menu. Loved it! Our meal consisted of a vegetable pizza to share and costola salad for me, Caesar for my husband. We didn't order beverages with our meal this time around but I did notice that soft drinks are served in bottles, rather than from a fountain, so you may want to ask if there are refills or not. If you are hungry, take into consideration that the pizzas are just about the size of a large dinner plate. We ordered one pizza with our salads and it was enough for us. It's not Chuck E Cheese or CiCi's i.e.not a place you would want to bring the kiddos with their soccer team. Fine dining pizza is how I would describe it. I'm thrilled there's a place like this in N. The Wine Bar with a hand picked all Italian wine list accentuates the level of detail to bring you a complete experience. The Owners as well as the entire staff have only one thing in mind, and that is you having a great experience. The wonderful people you will encounter at Pizzeria Corvina are both knowledgeable and passionate about everything they have to offer. The pizza is fantastic. Their desserts are also incredible. My favorite is the Pizza Margherita. I get it every time I go. The place is brand new so it isn't very busy. Probably not for long. Pros: small - quiet - great food - great prices Cons: No cons. Wish it were closer to my house! more

The proscuitto pizza is unbelievable, even as a takeout! Ask and they'll send it like an erector set -- then all you have to do is heat the cheese-y shell, mix the arugula and oil, pile the arugula on and layer on the proscuitto. Add some red pepper flakes and yum!!! The gnocchi are little puffs of yum! And the baked apple dessert is - well, "wonderful", is an understatement. Add to that, everyone there makes you feel at home, or at least "home" the way you want it to be, with people really waiting to serve you, with a smile. I'd rave on, but I've probably said enough. This is seriously the best pizza/Italian food joint in town. If you like Homeslice on Congress in South Austin but you don't want to drive that far this is the place to go. Hell i will choose this place before Homeslice. ITS THAT GOOD (real Italian NY pizza, thin crust, perfect amount of sauce, sauce less, cheese less options, great quality ingredients, coal fired) This is seriously good eats, great service. The Managers and co owners are there around the clock, they have great recommendations, the place looks very nice and elegant, but its still casual food with good prices and a great location with lots of parking!
