Pho Grand 4/3/2006

Pho Grand is great food, not just great Vietnamese food. If you haven’t tried Vietnamese food, try it. I’ve taken almost all of my friends, each one skeptical, and now they love it. You will too. And out of the Vietnamese places in town, I think Pho Grand is one of the best. It can get pretty crowded sometimes, so be prepared. more

The best Vietnamese Food in StL 8/16/2005

I’ve been to a number of Vietnamese Restaurants in and around St Louis, and Pho Grand is by far the best. The service and decor is top notch -- beating out Lemon Grass, and the food is consistently superb, which beats out Mi Lee's on Delmar -- I find their food often has too much cilantro and is sour. Pho Grand has a beautiful dining area with Vietnamese art and artifacts on the wall. FOOD: The fried spring rolls are great and there is a variety of pescetarian and vegetarian options which are great. They are also very willing to accommodate to specific dietary needs. more

delicious and cheap 8/16/2005

Pho Grand used to be located down the street off of south Grand. And i remember that all the chairs were different, it was a very seedy place, but then they moved. I am happy to say that the food is still as great as it was before. The menu has gottena little pricier, if you consider 6-7 dollars expensive for an entrée. I would really recommend the spring rolls. I am not as familiar with the soups, but my favorite is 18-01, since you order by number. If you want something spicier, go with 18-04. All my friends love the chicken with the coconut curry, so you should go down there and try it, but not on Tuesday, for some reason, that is their day off. more
