Considered but did not rent 11/22/2005

I chose this place because it was near my house that was being renovated. However, I have heard horror stories about pests and general cleanliness of this place. I was pleasantly surprised when i went to visit. The remodeled apartments were nice but the rent was steep. Also the apartments that were not renovated look awful. I would give this place a pass until they finish remodeling all the units to avoid the construction noise and dusts. more

good place for the price 9/9/2005

i checked thi place out before I decided to rent. i chose parkwood apartments because its around 250 less a month.thi is a chill place for the price. it has had a bad rep. in the past for claims of rats and such in apartment walls. they have remodeled all the new apartments being leased.i took a tour of the 3 bedroom apartments and they are pretty nice. they range at around $2200, which for me is a bit much if with only 3 people. my friends have 6 ppl livin in one place, so rent is around 375. has many amenities and a patio and lots of parking. for cheap places to live, check park west or parkwood! more

Depending on where you live within the complex, you could end up with a really ghetto-looking apartment or a brand-spanking-new one. The new ones are actually extremely nice, and the old ones are not bad for the very affordable price Park West asks for. With abundant curbside parking in addition to numerous lots, and with plenty of various amenities, all that's lacking from this place is a nice view out the window - but even then, that's not to say there aren't trees aplenty! more
