I used to love this park, I live close and bought my home because it was close enough I could walk my dog to this park. But they have had the pond here dry for almost 5 years now, and I am getting upset! There is zero news about what is going on with this pond, I never see a Park Rec person about that I can ask, and I has wrote emails and go no response at all. I want my park back and no one seems to care at all! or even notice. If this was Freedom Park this crap would have been fixed! more

What on earth happened 7/11/2008

Use to have a beautiful lake with nice path around it for walking and now has been drained and over grown with weeds and lots of snakes in the remaining water. Not an explanation to be found on any of the cities sites or at the park. A real shame. Pros: Good location Cons: Nasty sights and snake problems more
