Papadeux Seafood Restaurant is DELICIOUS! 1/2/2008

I live an hour away and I still drive over for a great meal. Fresh Seafood, great dishes, lots of choices and I always have left overs. I truly reccommend there Thursday Nights special of all you can eat Crab Legs, or Lobsters etc. Good Service, and noise levels are high on weekends nights but a great restaurant indeed. more

Pappa deaux 1/15/2007

This is a wonderful seafood/cajun restaurant with some really good food. I had their lobster bisque, which wasn't on the menu, but they made it anyway and it was the best bisque that I have ever had. Just a little hot kick, with lumps of big lobster - it was sooo good. The prices are a little high, but nice atmosphere and easy parking. more

Seafood 6/23/2006

Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen is a huge restaurant. The decor here is pretty neat, right down to the many fish and lobster tanks they have situated around this place. Their food is also really good and some of the best seafood I have had. They have a grilled salmon that is amazing in terms of freshness and taste. They have a very big menu and you can choose from a ton of different dishes and varieties of seafood. If you have any love whatsoever of seafood, give this one a shot! more

The Best Fish Dining in Town 5/25/2006

I love this restaurant. I used to work just across the road in the Continental towers and this was THE place to go for lunch. Lunch is excellent and inexpensive too. The menu, well, quite honestly, it has every kind of fish you could ever want and more. Walking into the place you are taken by the huge aquarium right there inside the front door. The place is huge inside and, as you might expect, decorated in a nautical theme. The seating is ample, but the food is really why you come here. This isn't some Red Lobster rip-off. Try the fried alligator. Try the appetizers in general. They serve portions of lobster or, on Thursdays, all-you-can-eat lobster. They have crab. For me, the food to get is the salmon. Their lunch special of grilled salmon with "dirty" rice is better than a steak at most places. This is a great place for seafood and I don't care if you are from Maine and want to tell me about how fresh the lobster is from where you come from. I will put Pappadeux's lobster against yours any day of the week. Stellar food in a nice setting. This is a must for any fish lover. more

Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen ! My favorite Choice ! 4/10/2006

This is one of my all time favorite restaurants. I love the Swamp Things (it's a drink) - they are very very addicting. One is just not ever enough ! I love every entry that I've ever tried there. There was only one time when I had a small problem and was given $35.00 coupons to enjoy more food on our next visit. Ive tried everything from the oysters (raw) on the half shell, to the crab cakes to the blackened scallops to the Fondeaux - Everything is sooooo Good there. The portions are really good sized too. more

Incredible seafood. 9/11/2005

I've been here twice, and the seafood is always excellent! I love the blackened shrimp caesar salad and crabcakes. Definitely save room for dessert. The banana pudding is amazing! The restaurant is huge, but there's usually a bit of a wait, which is the only downside. The nautical decor is also really fun, and little kids love the huge fish tanks. more

LOBSTERS 8/20/2005

Pappadeux seafood kitchen is one of my favorite seafood restaurants. I go there every 6 months or so and go for their all you can eat lobster buffet on Thursdays. For $44.99 you can eat as many whole steammed lobsters as you want. I was able to eat 10 and the rest of my party ate 6-8. The record holder ate 33 lobsters!! more

LOBSTER NIGHT! 8/10/2005

Pappadeaux is one of my favorite seafood restaurants in the Chicagoland area. For all those lobster lovers, brace yourself they have an all you can eat lobster night on Thursdays. the price did go up to $44.99 now per person, but this is unlimited steamed lobsers. they first give you two whole 1-2 lb lobsters. then when you finsih they give you another, and another until you are stuffed. I manged to eat 8 totol but i have relatives that have crossed the 10 lobster mark. They also give you some corn and dirty rice in case you are still hungry. It is well worth the price. I have also been here on other nights, and their salmon and mahi mahi are delicious. I would recommend that you top the fish off with some of their special sauces. As for drinks, try out their Swamp thing, it is really good. more
