My friends and I heard about a small sushi place in arlington heights and finally found a chance to go. This place is absolutely adorable from the atmosphere, deco to the quick, friendly service. I ordered the sea bass which was perfectly cooked with a unique marinate on it. I also ate some of my friend's catepillar roll which was delicious!! Our server was very attentive which added to our great night out. I will be going back soon!
Pros: ambience, service, and of course food
Cons: Parking is on a lower level

I have been going to Peggy Kinnane's for a long time and my first visit there I had a problem with my meal not coming out the way I wanted. the owner was very nice about the problem and took my meal off the bill. I keep going back bc of the way my problem was handle by the owner. I understand mistakes can happen being that I worked as a server thro college. What matters to me is how the business makes the wrong right. Go to Peggy Kinnane's the food is awesome and the place is very big and the owner is there all the time to make sure you leave happy.
Pros: food service and size of bar

La Tasca is an awesome dining experience. If you haven't tried Tapas before then you have to go here and try them. They have them hot or cold (though I prefer hot). They also have a wonderful dessert menu. It's a fun place to go for dinner with your family or to host a party. They also have a great wine list. It can get pricey though so be prepared!

La Tasca has been the best Spanish/mediteran restaurant the burbs has had to offer in in the last 12 years. The food, people, drinks, atmospher, will surpass most Tapas restaurants in Chicago and many in Spain. We have enjoyed it as a couple and with friends, and many LARGE familly parties. Try the dates in baccon, scallops in cheese and bachemel, the potatas bravas, octopus, fillets for sure. I would put the Carmel flan against ANY in the world!!!!!!!!! The dance and bands are one big party as if everyone is one big family . No trendish fake snubs like the city. Try and you see. Thanks again LA Tasca!

We recently had dinner at Jameson's Original Charhouse, and we truly had a pleasant dining experience. Everything was deliciously prepared, especially, the shrimp which are colossal. Our waitress was pleasant and the service was great. Next time we have dinner there, we plan to leave room for dessert.

Try the Fondou appetizer...its great.
You must always experience the "Swamp-Thing" when you arrive.
If you plan on taking kids, do not take them on a Friday or Saturday night, overwhelming packed sometimes.
We visit early when the kids are with us.

Not only is Le Titi a great place for dinner (and a great wine list) they actually offer hands on cooking classes. every couple of weeks they actually teach you to prepare some of what they prepare, and they serve lunch afterwards. I love it. They also do demonstration lessons and lessons for the kids. Info is on the website.
