O'shine Cafe

This place has a good selection of dishes. They don't only serve chinese dishes, but I wouldn't order a steak. Hunnai (sp?) chicken rice is pretty good here. I've tried other dishes like beef soup and porridge before, but I always go back to this chicken rice dish. Service is pretty bad, but the food comes pretty quick. I think they only accept cash here. I remember not being able to use my credit card. They may have changed that policy though. more

This asia cafe serves all kinda of food. If you want good food you won't be coming here. The service isn't that good too... Overall O'shine Cafe is a good place where you want to chat with your friends or when you need a place to do your homework. I think the price of the drinks are a bit too much for the quality. I been there few times, but never really like it. I guess if you just want to eat somewhere, you can try here. more

The food is actually pretty decent. Don't get anything "American" on the menu though. I liked the rice with pork stew and the tea eggs. They also have a pepper steak that is pretty good. The typical friend rice and what not is good when you are craving Chinese. Try it, you may like it or may not. more

O'Shine Cafe is a cafe that shines above all else. Its location is perfect among the Asian community of stores in Irvine. The food is good and authentic in a way Chinese Cafes are supposed to be. The flavors are strong. My recommendation is the beef stew. Their poignant flavor intensifies the meal. They have a nice combination plates as well. more

Quick and nice waiters/waitress. I like to buy my boba tea there since they do not add as much sugar as other places and you can actually taste the tea flavor. They also have tons of different kind of drink, so go check out their drink menu (i like the snow apple too). They have a tiny little bar where they make your drink but you don't get to sit in front of the bar. They bring your drink to your table. I got there at least twice a week. The food is good, not expensive and very friendly atmosphere. I do a lot ot take-out too. Soups are good, healthy (written in chinese and displayed on the table) and very cheap if you order dishes (the ones that you share with others). They have a small TV in the room, focusing on a taiwanese TV station (speaking mandarin). more
