A good imitation of a New York style eatery, with nice overstuffed sandwiches, homemade soups, entrees and pastries and deserts. They serve bagels with cream cheese/lox and other morning fare as well as sandwiches the rest of the day. They have rubens that are especially tasty, It is prepared on a marbled rye bread. As long as the grill is hot the owner will prepare the sandwiches, but once he's shut down the grill that is it , even if it is within posted open hours. So it's better not to try and get anything at the end of the evening. Go there during lunch or in the middle of the afternoon, but not late at night.. SOmetimes the owner is rude to customers, but the wait staff is very courteous and helpful.
