The restaurant is nothing special from the outside, but inside it is down right welcoming. You don't have to worry about an accidental fly in your soup here. The interior is sparkling clean and white, I heard it had been remodeled recently. The menu is basically just soup and stew like dishes and the tofu soup broth is a little thinner than usual. more

great food and service! 8/9/2005

this is one bustling korean restaurant! they specialize in these popular soft tofu stews that's amazing and least expensive in the area! sometimes when the food's good, the staff gets cocky. but not this restaurant! they also serve various korean bbq 'n veggie dishes as well as appetizers for those who want to run in for a little late-night snack (open later than other restaurants in the area). i still can't believe the price. the lunch crowd's pretty crazy, but you'll land a seat if you're in by noon. more

a local favourite amongst the crowd that knows 8/7/2005

korean soon dubu has gained quite a bit of popularity amongst the "general" crowd in the past decade. this is the best place for soon dubu jjigae in the silicon valley. the waitstaff is attentive, helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. they have a good variety of soon dubu dishes as well as some other popular, common noodle and rice dishes. there are other soon dubu restaurants along santa clara and sunnyvale's el camino real, but this is by a good amount the best. you'll have the most authentic korean soon dubu experience here. after all, a korean soondubujip (soon tofu restaurant) ought to ask you how spicy you want your jjigae (stew), if you want an egg with it, if you want the leftover rice in the dolsot (stone pot) to be turned into nooroongjitang (scorched rice soup)... these are all important things, and this restaurant does all those. more
