roomy, comfortable 4/14/2006

The theater does get crowded, especially in the evenings, so do not run late for a movie. I like to buy my tickets online and then when you get there you go to a self service kiosk and pick up your tickets. No waiting in line and no selling out before you get there. Of course, the concessions will run you as much, if not more than the prices of the tickets. The seats are so comfortable and the arm rests can be out up so you can snuggle up to your date if you want. Stadium seating makes sure that you don't have to look at the back of someone's head. more

Excellent Stadium-seating theater 2/9/2006

The Egyptian is a wonderfully-maintained theater at one corner of the Arundel Mills Mall complex. Not only is the theming cool (take a wild guess based on the name), but prices are pretty darn affordable, especially for students. The snack shop has a lot to be desired, but what do you expect from movie food? I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to bring in outside food, so drink that Starbucks and down that pretzel from the mall before you get inside. Theaters are quite clean, but bring a jacket; I'm always freezing in there. more

Biggest and the Best Movie Theater 11/27/2005

This is one of the biggest movie theaters. It new and clean. Most of all it is kept clean. They give student/senior discounts. Must have a proper ID. They have a big staff, but with the amount of people coming there, they need more cashiers. The lines are too long on Friday nights and the weekend. They need to get the temperature of the theater just right. Sometimes its too too cold, sometimes it too too hot. It's never in the middle. All said in done, wear layers when going to this place, incase the temperature isn't right. Get there early incase of lines. This is one of the best theaters in the country. more

Amazing Experience 10/5/2005

I think this is one of the best movie going experiences one can have in Baltimore. The theater is huge and impressive. The seats are comfortable. The snack bar has a bigger selection that any of the other theaters around; including things like chicken fingers and ice cream! I highly recommend seeing movies at this theater! more

Best in the Area 9/28/2005

This theater has lots of screens. The seats are comfortable and easy to see the screen from. They have automated kiosks for buying tickets if you want to avoid the lines at the ticket window. They are always showing the current releases with plenty of showings. After you buy your ticket, you can walk around the mall to keep yourself busy until the show starts. Note: parking is a pain here. more

good movie-going experience 9/19/2005

The Muvico at Arundel Mills is an enormous theater complex, with 24 screens, large theaters, plenty of space. With so many screens, they offer movies all the time--starting early, ending late, with shows almost every hour. Employees are helpful and efficient--ticket rippers are always nice, box office sales people are usually not particularly friendly. Prices are normal for the area. However, since it's located in the mall, it tends to get crowded--you can go shopping and just stop in for a movie, which a lot of people do. It's also subject to the poor parking situation at the mall--all lots, no garages, it's ridiculous trying to park on the weekends, and I won't set foot there in December. more

Huge theater, a fun experience 9/4/2005

Muvico Egyptian 24 is a HUGE movie theater. It is the busiest theater in the country. As part of Arundel Mills, it is easy to get to and features access to shops and restaurants. They have a huge concession area and feature stadium seating in every theater. Prices are a bit steep--9 dollars for an evening show for an adult. However they do offer student and senior citizen discounts. This is the only theater we will attend now--we've been spoiled! more

the best theaters in the area 8/17/2005

wow. rock solid movie-going experiences. the screens are freaking huge, stadium seating. decently priced food, and excellent sound. the restrooms are clean enough for a movie theater, and there are a LOT of movies to pick from. the employees aren't as clueless as in other theaters also, they actually give you a smile as you walk in. the decor is excellent, they really did their research on the egyptian look. i have no complaints with these theaters. i saw both the 'kill bill' movies and the final two 'lord of the rings' movies there, and i am extremely satisfied. more
