This is, by far, the nicest ballpark I have ever been to. It's relatively new, very clean, and really beautiful. It features an area of Eutaw St. that is closed off to traffic and has shops and restaurants. It's a large stadium and since the O's don't have a huge following getting a ticket is never an issue. They have lots of promotions that allow you to attend for cheap, including 5 dollar student tickets on Friday nights and 4 for 44 dollar promotions where you get 4 tickets, 4 hats and 4 programs for 44 dollars. Though the O's aren't the best team (go Red Sox!) it's a great place to spend an evening or a weekend afternoon!

Ciocca Honda and Dodge is a great dealership. The sales staff are friendly and helpful, especially Jonathan! The service area is knowledgeable in their work and will do their best to fix your car at a reasonable price. They are in the process of building a new Dodge store and then will have seperate dealerships for each make of car. Right now it's a small dealership but it's only going to get better. They are in a convenient location in Hershey. Their prices are good and of course Hondas are great cars, so you can't go wrong!

Lexington Market is a food market in downtown Baltimore. I've only been in it once and that was enough! While they did have many food stands that looked like they sold wonderful fresh produce, meat, and international foods, the area is scary. There are pickpockets and thiefs all over and I hear it's riddled with crime. We (students at UMB) are warned not to go up there at night. Though grocery stores are lacking in the downtown area I'd personally make the drive out of town to shop instead of going there. However, during a weekday in the middle of the day it's probably ok.

We used Bobby K as our DJ at our wedding. The price was good and the company was good to deal with. They honored all of our music requests for the reception, even ones we made at the last minute. We had an hour of karaoke and that went well, they had a decent list of songs to choose from (though my husband was disappointed with their selection). The actual DJ himself was sort of cheesy in that "so, who's from out of town?" kind of way, but he did a nice job, dressed well, and was easy to work with. I'd recommend them!

This mall is wonderful. It has many high-end stores, several great department stores, and a nice food court. It is very much geared towards mid-upper 20's, upper-middle-class women. Stores include Nordstrom, Hecht's, Lord and Taylor, and of course your normal Abercrombie, Limited, Express, etc. It is clean, well-lit, and has lots of parking. There are some restaurants around the perimeter of the mall as well and a new movie theater. It's super-crowded during the holidays but what in this area isn't? It's a great place!

Arundel Mills is a great place to shop. They have a wide variety of stores, many of them outlets. There are several sit-down restaurants as well as a relatively large food court, so you are sure to find something to eat that you like. There is a huge movie theater, an arcade, and a Medieval Times as well. There are a few things I don't like, such as the fact that it gets insanely crowded during the holidays, and that it's owned by Coca Cola, so coke is advertised everywhere (for example, the entrances have "Coke bottle" archways you walk through). Overall though, it's a fun place.

Harborplace and the Gallery consist of 3 buildings full of shops and restaurants. They are right in the middle of the Inner Harbor making them very convenient when you are sightseeing. There are many stores of various types, including your typical souvenir shops but also many high-end retailers in the Gallery. Eateries include The Cheesecake Factory, J. Paul's, Phillips, California Pizza Kitchen, and Capital City Brewing Company to name a few. Though it can be packed during the summer, Harborplace is a great place to visit to see the harbor but also get in some shopping and lunch or dinner out.

We stayed at the Flamingo this past August and really enjoyed it. We had a great rate on our room, which was clean and well kept. not fancy but definitely adequate for our needs. The casino was great--not smoky at all, and really large. The slots paid out ok, and during the day you could find 5 dollar blackjack tables. They have a wonderful pool area and a nature area with penguins and flamingos. The restaurants were great and reasonably priced. We will definitely stay there again!

The National Aquarium in Baltimore is a great place to take the family. It's very educational, well-kept, and in a great location. The fish are beautiful. They have a shark tank and also a rain forest "environment" that you can walk through. They have a dolphin show that I've heard bad things about so I haven't bothered to see it. Admission is expensive--about 20 bucks a person--but it is discounted on Friday evenings. A must see in the Inner Harbor!

I chose this bank because the checking account earns a (small) interest rate. I kept them as a bank for several years because the service is very friendly and they feature free online banking. ATMs can be hard to come by, however. They feature a full range of services from loans to CDs to checking and savings accounts. They also feature free online bill pay. The only con is that there are only a few branches, so sometimes it can be inconvenient to go to the actual bank.
