Mountain America Credit Union

I have a couple loans with them: a car loan and a student loan. I used to be very satisfied and I had very little problems, but when I took out my student loan it seems that they can't get anything right. They will always claim to recieve half of my payment, and I will have to print out checks and prove to them that it has been paid. They put payments toward the wrong loans, even if I state where they are to go so I have to fix it. If it were only a couple of occasions I would be fine, but it has happened on each one of my last 6 payments I have made. They do recieve 2 stars because they have very friendly people working at the branch I go to. Their customer service call center has some very rude employees. And I work in customer service so I never call them angry, they are just rude without being attacked. It isn't worth the trouble I go through to use them. more

For a place which takes all your money you would think they would treat you nice! They are rude and have screwed at least two transactions up and when you need it fixed they don't apologize or help you out all that much. more

My husband and I love this credit union, we are newlyweds and the staff at mountain america has really been great in assisting us with building our credit. The people are always willing to help and more importantly, we trust our finances with mountain america. We love their customer service and all the loan options. I switched from America First Credit Union and I coudn't be happier. Pros: They have many braches more
