I will never let this one live it down. I sincerely LOVE this restaurant and serene atmosphere. The food is fantasmic, and oh so delish to my picky tastebuds. I don't think I will enjoy another Miyabi's Kyoto look alike...like any other than this one in West of the Ashley in Charleston. I loved the fact that the gentlemen at the Sushi Bar are so considerate in finding that all of our needs are met and the we're enjoying every moment of the food. I'm a Sushi lover and I'm almost willing to try different things, and when the one Sushi Bar tender suggested "Shark Fin" sushi wrapped in seaweed, I jumped at the oppurtunity to enjoy a little something bizarre, rare, and spontaneous. I am weak at the knees of spontaniety. lol. SO, I tried it, and I will tell you as...as soon as I put it my mouth I knew for a grossingly tmi detail that when I got home, I'd be on the john sort of speak. OMG, I will NEVER try Shark fin again. I will stick to my regulars. lol. But, the thing is the service and food we're amaz-za-zing. Ppl made sure we had filled drinks, enjoyed the pre-meal sampler, and made sure we enjoyed sashimi, sushi..oh and our fried eel...>YUMMIES, I swear it tastes like teriyaki chicken. Son't be afraid to try eel. At first I was like, yuck, hell no. Then I tried it and Viola! I have it every time I go. My point is, it'll make you forget about going to the back and think about going to the Sushi bar from now on. I'm telling ya. Oh, and the sake was awesome. C'mon, who doesn't enjoy sweet ppl? Lovin' it! I recommend it to the tenth degree.
