Best Vet in the West!! 12/7/2008

I went to this by chance, everything else was booked up(it was the day before Thanksgiving). I walked into the office, it was clean and friendly. It was busy but my wait time was reasonable. Dr. Pitt came in and was very personable and did everything he could to help my kitten. He gave me 5 free follow up visits, only charging me for medication. Every free visit he stayed and answered every SINGLE QUESTION I had for him! I would highly recommend Dr.Pitt, just make sure to ask for Dr. Pitt and not the other Vet as she was good, just not as personable or informed. He is also open 7 days a week and is open very late!! When you meet Dr. Pitt you will know he is very educated and informed and truly cares for the animals well being. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE! Pros: Clean and Caring more

GREAT VET HOSPITAL IN AN EMERGENCY. CLOSE TO RESEDA 12/4/2008

Mid VAlley is across the street from my house in Reseda and they offer great services. All the people i talk to love them. What a pleasure having a great hospital so close to Reseda. highly recommend them. Pros: VERY CLOSE TO RESEDA AND NORTHRIDGE Cons: NONE. more

They call you back when they say they are going to. You see the same vet every visit.. They remember you. They are helpful. They have free courtesy re-checks. They are compassionate. They don't have long waits. They know how to schedule appointments. more

friendly, caring. always greet me at the door. very clean. I have only seen Dr. PItt who is excellent. always takes time with my silly questions and kisses my dog. Mid Valley was terrific. What a great experience: friendly, caring, clean and the staff was the best. Dr. Kim has a slight accent but was terrific. When my cat had a wound they fixed him up quickly and without ripping us off. Its got to be the CLEANEST hospital I have ever seen. On my first visit they readily allowed me to tour the hospital. Good vet 8/11/2008

The first time I used this vet, I asked for a tour. I was shown every room, no door was left shut. Cats and dog areas are seperate of each other. Very clean facility. I recently took my kittens in to be fixed and was delighted that they were not traumatized, but appear happy and peaceful. Prices are very reasonable, unlike Adler vet where they charge way too much. Personally, I don't care for Dr. Ptt or a few of the staff members, but that's a personal issue. A long as my animals receive good care, I'm happy. Pros: My pets were happy, no problems Cons: I've had to wait as long as 20 minutes with appt, while routine drop in's were given priority. more

our pet Junior had pancreatitis and Mid Valley Vet SAVED HIS LIFE!! 8/2/2008

Our little guy got into some meat and started getting sick. Our friend told us about Dr. Pitt and Mid Valley Vet so we brought him in. Prices at vets are high but i thought they were reasoalbe. The final bill was actually lower than the quote. the IMPORTANT thing was that Junior was cured and we will ALWAYS BE GREATFUL TO MID VALLEY VET. KUDOS GUYS. Before I go to a vet I check him/her out. The Calif State Board has NEVER filed any complaint against Dr. Pitt. I found him because of his VOLUNTEER work at the SPCA when he was the MEDICAL DIRECTOR. His hospital is the cleanest I have ever seen, and the staff is incredible. I especially love Juliana and Claudia. Pros: CLEAN, FRIENDLY, REASONABLE PRICES. MY DOGS LOVE DR. PITT Cons: NONE!! Worst Vet 8/1/2008

I took my 3 month old puppy to Dr. Pitt for some shots and ear infection, he sold me Gentizol- a very strong cream that is known to cause deafness and is only prescribed to adult dogs. My pet does not mind any other eardrops but she screamed when I put it in! The Vet alsow kept argueing with me over feeding my dog the Raw diet. I know that people are intiteled to their oppinions, but I would expect that a veterinarian would do some research on the subject beforehand and argue with solid facts instead of trying to scare and confuse the client. The front office was pretty dirty so was the examination room, very unsanitary. I also paid almost $300 for the visit. Cons: Unsanitary, expensive, unprofessional more

OUR DOG ROCKY NEEDED A KNEE SURGERY AND MID VALLEY WAS INCREDIBLE!!! 7/26/2008

Rocky tore his knee ligament ACL and we checked several vets. Dr. Pitt was the only vet who took the time to explain the problem and what needed to be done. the cost was expensive but much cheaper than the other vets I checked out. Incredible, Rocky was walking almost normally in 2 weeks. follow ups were at no cost. I wouldnt use any other vet!! and as dog lovers we are extra picky. Pros: nice staff. remember our dogs name. i always see the same vet. GREAT ORTHOPEDIC WORK Cons: NONE! more

Rude - Money Hungry - Arrogant Doctor 7/25/2008

I unfortunately took my dog to Mid Valley Veterinary Clinic. I was appauled by Dr. Pitt, who came waltzing into the exam room, wanted to talk about himself, not my pet, and charge me lots of money. He also was impressed by my girlfriend, who he kept flirting with. Pros: Location Cons: Everything Else more

my dog loves going to Mid Valley Vet Hospital 6/1/2008

Have been taking my pets to Mid Valley for 4 yrs. The staff is friendly, kind, caring and very cool. I love Claudia who is a receptionist. the doctors are always caring and give me options when my animals are sick. its unusual for me to wait for more than 15mins and the hospital is clean and warm. Pros: too many to count Cons: sometimes they are busy and i have to wait, but its worth it!!! more

Dr. Pitt is the best! After my dog completely dislocated her foot, he was able to put everything back and splint it together. Saved her from having surgery. Fees are reasonable! Pros: Staff is caring. Cons: No overnight care if pet has to be hospitalized more

BEST VET IN THE VALLEY 4/13/2008

After several ""not so great"" experiences with other Veterinarians, we have finally found a Doctor and staff that actually care about our pets. The office - clean and simple. The staff - polite, friendly and knowledgeable. The Dr. - Amazing, caring and thorough. The prices - fair. Very comforting to have the vet call and give an update on what was going on with our little ones. After having dentals done at another vet and not seeing/smelling any difference, we took our dogs to Dr. Pitt. ..the results - pearly whites and no remaining tooth decay or bad breath. We highly Recommend Dr. Pitt. and his staff at Mid Valley Animal Hospital... this coming from TRUE animal lovers. Pros: Our Overall Experience more
