The grounds of the garden are quiet, relaxing, and scenic. There is a picturesque waterfall and a large pond with fish. You can easily lose track of time in the beauty of the surroundings. This garden used to be free, but now charges a $3 admission for adults. You can request for a tour or simply stroll through the vast property on your own. Because it is located next to a water reclamation plant, you can learn how our waster water is being recycled and used for maintaining this garden and the surrounding area.

I was just in their shop and I knew only enough about fishing to catch nothing, and they hooked me up. My first trip was great and am really happy with their selection and assistance. They also told me about their website and since it's not here ill post it. They knew what they were talking about and helped me to spend some quality time with my son fishing. Thanks guys.

The Target Range in Van Nuys is a great place to purchase supplies or spend a day doing target practice. You can apply and take your test for a gun license here. Also, they offer many classes. The entires staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about firearms. I would recommend their classes to anyone who is just getting started. They will teach you all of the safety procedures need to to enjoy the sport to its fullest.

This park has some of the best features to spend a nice day with kids.Recreation activities include fishing, boating, Barbecue pits, children's play are, picnic tables, Lots of trees to hang hammocks, bike path and most important restrooms
The highlight is the lake with lots of ducks...be sure to brig bread to feed them.
Its nice to go on the pedal boat/power boat in the lake
