I would never waste my money or time with this salon again. The owner was rude, unfocused and hurried during my appointment. My hair cut is uneven and the color is drab. I would hardly say this is a ""premiere"" salon, as quoted on the website. more

I guess the hair cut is ok, but my time in this salon was disappointing. I had to wait about 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment which made me late for work. My stylist...maybe Matt...not sure he was not very friendly ....was dry and my haircut is pretty boring. For the price you pay at this place I expected more. I want to share my experience with the Matt Bradley Salon's Nail Technician. She is wonderful. I recently got a pedicure there and it was the best I have ever had. There was plenty of privacy and relaxation. Sitting in the spa/whirlpool chair was heavenly. Rachel made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I am still wearing the polish she applied. It was an overall splendid experience that I will be repeating regularly and would recommend the rest of you try. Pros: Wonderful service and atmosphere more

I too would like to extend a compliment to my stylist, Mathew Bertke. I am constantly impressed with not only his knowledge of hair, but his knowledge of MY hair. He makes it a point to remember my personality and my individual style. He continuously engages me in conversation and keeps me laughing throughout my session. One noticeable trait in Mathew that I have never seen in other stylists is his advice on how to continuously keep my hair healthy. I have recently talked my husband into leaving his local barbershop to allow Mathew to cut his hair. My husband enjoyed his cut and style so much that he is now willing to pay a little extra and will always continue to be a client of Mathews. I have trusted my hair to him for several years now and can honestly vouch that there is no other stylist like him in the city of Cincinnati. Pros: Stylist knowledge and the atmosphere more

I have been getting my brows waxed since I was a teen. Yet did I know the brows are the frame for your face...they set it off..define you. I found this out after transforming from the many years of "" bad waxes"" at various salons. My friends and sister told me to visit Jenny at Matt Bradley Salon. She has been amazing. She is the esthetician at the salon. She's so nice and patient. It's a quiet and relaxing salon. And she has even given great pointers on skin care. I highly recommend Matt Bradley Salon I would not trust any other stylist with my hair. I travel all the way from Florida to have it done. My stylist Mathew Bertke always takes the time to make sure I have the most stylish haircut and am happy with the results. He is very talented and I have found no other stylist that can compare to the talent he exhibits. The staff is friendly and courteous and always accomodates my needs. The salon is very beautiful and is alway a wonderful experience!! more

I disagree with the bad review about Jenny also. I have gone to her several times to have my legs waxed, and she always does a great job. I have been to other places for waxing, including several Mitchell's locations, and she has done the best job. She is friendly, professional, and very nice. more

I must say that whomever wrote the article on avoid the eyebrow expert must be a very immature miserable and rude spiteful person!!! Anyone who has been to the eyebrow expert knows that she's the best!! She has the same loyal clients from her first day at Emerge. My sister and I have been going to see Jenny for quite some time now and she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She also did all the makeup for the wedding party of a co-worker. Needless to say the bride and wedding party looked amazing!! I feel she is a true professional and it is comforting to know that my eyebrows are in such good hands. My girlfriend and I heard about the eyebrow expert in an article so we both decided to see what the hype was all about. Our first impression of the salon was ok, service was not what we anticipated. My girlfriend was the first to go back for her eyebrow wax. She came out with a solemn look on her face...i figured out why that was after my appt. I explained to her that my eyebrows were too thin. She tried to convince me that they were great which disappointed me a bit. I guess I should of made a judgement call once I saw the look on my girlfriends face and by the appearance of the esthetician. For being the ""eyebrow expert"" her brows nor her skin impressed me at all. I guess we all learn from our mistakes. We decided to visit the other esthetician that was mentioned in the article, her name was Tekeyla at Mitchell's. We have to honestly say that the experience was one to remember. First and foremost, customer service was top notch and Tekeyla was excellent. We would recommend her to anyone. more

I went there for a haircut and brought a picture to show the stylist what I wanted. My new haircut ended up looking exactly like my old haircut, albeit an inch shorter. I had asked for side-sweeping bangs and brought in a picture to show her exactly what I wanted. She cut a small portion of my hair in the front and it looks nothing like the picture. When I tuck my hair behind my ears it looks like I had nothing done to it. I spent a lot of money getting my hair cut...and the end result was paying 50 bucks for her to trim my split ends. I would not recommend this place. Too pricey and quality isn't the greatest. Pros: Very trendy salon Cons: Poor skill level more

I had a very bad experience at the salon about a month ago. I went in for a facial and eyebrow wax. My facial was ok, but I've had better. I was very disappointed in my eyebrow wax. She took too much off and they appeared to be a bit uneven. Call me picky, but I am a paying customer and should be completely satisfied with my services. I would not recommend getting services done at this salon. My girlfriend also had a very bad ""hair"" experience there as well. more

If you ever considered getting your brows waxed, I highly recommend Jenny. She does a great job. I had no idea my eye brows could look so good. more

My hair cut & color was pricey for the level of skill and quality of service. I had someone who cut my hair dry. The result was hair which was an inch longer on one side and sporadic uneven layers in the back. My highlights had to be redone three times. She did not show me color swatches even though it was my first visit. Overall service was very disappointing. Pros: atmosphere Cons: level of skill more

Chip is the best! Atmosphere is classic and fun at the same time. Great selection of products and they hours that work around working people! more
