My 3 year old daughter was kicked out of leaping lizards for crying. The classes are crowed and the teacher does not seem to know what to do. With all the other dances schools in St. Louis please skip this one. more

Top Notch School 7/18/2011

This is a top notch school! Very professional, but affordable to all those who want to send their kids to dance class. They all totally build up the child's self esteem. When my child started 2 years ago, she couldn't even pay attention for 2 minutes. Ok she was 3, but the change is amazing. Ms Cecily rocks! I didn't ever think Vanessa could pay attention but Ms Cecily has a way will all the kids and works with them at their level. Definately a top notch school! more

Has a good message 3/27/2011

I have to disagree with 314missy. My daughter is in one of Ms. Cecily's classes and I see nothing but self-esteem promotion. She is a teacher who has expectations of her students and is straightforward in her direction. My daughter truly loves Ms. Cecily & enjoys her class. I have never seen anything but professional behavior & a caring attitude at Leaping Lizards. more

Daughter's Self-Esteem Deflated 1/7/2011

My daughter had an awful experience at Leaping Lizards, and my heart still aches for her. Miss Cecily does not know how to work with children, and this was evident after my daughter tried one of her classes. My daughter's self-esteem was deflated, and the way this situation was handled was extremely unprofessional as well as cold hearted. After taking 22 years of dance in the St. Louis community, I would never recommend Leaping Lizards. The owner and Miss Cecily are adequate dancers, however they are lacking the interpersonal skills needed to be successful at anything they do. Don't sign your child up at Leaping Lizards, and if you do, don't sign up for a class with Miss Cecily. more
