Just to add that you don't have to be low income to receive the early intervention help. My son needed speech therapy and although we weren't low income according to their scale, we were still able to get amazing help for him through them. We had a monthly copay but it wasn't much and is based on a sliding scale. more

Non profit organization for kids 8/17/2005

Kids on the move is a non profit organization that specializes in kids from birth to three years old. They offer their services to low income families by putting those children in need into an early head start program. They have classes for parents to give them tips on raising their kids and giving them the development they need to learn and grow. They also have an early intervention program for birth to three years for those children who have developmental delays and disabilities. more
