My experience with Kaiser has been pretty limited as I have only recently run into a reason to see the doctor. The doctor I have is a good one, and we use Kaiser because of coverage at work. Everyone I have come into contact with is sensitive to needs, from taking blood, to having a sonogram. When I was younger I went to a private doctor because my family was able to afford that, and if money was not an issue, I would do this because the care you get at something like that is more tailored to you . While Kaiser does a good job, it feels less personalized and more like a Walmart. The copayments for seeing the doctor and getting medication are very reasonable. If your coverage allows you to have Kaiser I would say you are in good shape, but if something serious were to come up, I would probably rather see a specialist.
