I have had my hair colored and cut by Saverio at Julian Hans Salon for many years. The staff is so professional, courteous, helpful, friendly, and extremely considerate of their clients. They spend the time with you to understand whay you want done and provide you with the best possible experience. I love the treatments as it gives me time to just close my eyes and relax. The scalp massage when they wash your hair is marvleous and so stimulating. Each stylist is different, but they are all very well-trained so you know that whoever washes out your color or applies your color will be well qualified. I highly recommend the salon for any type of service, and especially because you will not meet nicer people anywhere. more

I called the salon desperate to have my color corrected--it was RUINED by an inept stylist at a supposedly high -end salon (Carlton) in MV mall. My naturally medium blond hair had dark blackish patches in the front, bright yellow roots and uneven color all over. After I explained to the very friendly receptionist that I started a new job on Monday, she fit me in on Friday afternoon. My stylist Brittany was so sweet! She consulted with me and another colorist to figure out the best plan that would give me better color without frying my hair. She put in a deep conditioner, multicolored highlights and a golden wash. I went in looking like a freaky home coloring "don't" and left a couple hours later with smooth, shiny dark blond, sun-streaked hair, even all over. A huge bonus was the reasonable charge of $145. I know other salons charge upwards of $200 for color correction like this. Brittany told me the charges up front so there was no anxiety about the bill as she worked. Everyone in the salon was cheery and supportive. I will definitely go back to Brittany FOREVER and I will recommend this salon to everyone I know. The owners should be proud of their employees--they are ALL professional, polite and competent and make that salon exactly the way a salon should be. I LOVE IT! more

My name is Helene. I just returned from my first vist at Julian Hans Salon and couldn't get to the computer quick enough to write this review. My stylist was Saverio and I can't thank him enough. The salon was upbeat, with a mixture of clientele; the staff is delightful, friendly and clearly excited about their work. Saverio, what can I say? I came in a frumpy "mature" woman, with long hair and no style and left still "mature" but feeling great, with a new style and happy I stumbled across the Salon. Saverio listened to me, understood that I feel secure with my longer hair and designed a style just for me. He layered my locks but there is no sign of the layers and amazing job. I would definitely go back and I would encourage anyone who is looking to try a new look to check out Julian Hans Salon. I can't imagine anyone coming out of there disappointed. more

My name is Tara and I am currently a stylist at Julian Hans Salon but unfortunately not for much longer. I will be moving out of state very soon and I thought it would be great to give a review on the salon so that you can get a feel for what goes on behind the scenes. First of all, I must say that I feel very fortunate to have found this place. Had it not been for Saverio taking me under his wing and putting me through extensive training, I would have given up on the beauty industry entirely. Now, I absolutely LOVE what I do and have such an understanding for hair. Our haircutting is so precise and balanced and the hair coloring is top notch. I've gone to numerous Redken classes with the team and have learned so much. You can be sure that we have the latest training and techniques out there. As a matter of fact, we just added the "Brazilian Blow Out" to our salon menu. After much researching and testing, we decided it was safe to use on your hair and the results were beautiful. Our main priority is the health of your hair. You can be at ease knowing that you will never walk out of this salon with damaged hair. Actually, you will leave the salon with healthier hair than when you first walked in. The team is absolutely amazing. We pride ourselves in customer service and proffessionalism. You will get VIP treatment from the moment you walk through the door. People always stop me and say they love my hair, even at Stater Bros.!! I love my haircuts and hair color. It is very difficult to get the color you like or want and at Julian Hans you will get exactly what you ask for. I have been going to Julian Hans for years, it is the only place I go and can recommend it honestly and wholeheartedly. I love the products as well and they recommend what products will be good for your type of hair. Alot of people don't like their hair, but they also need to keep up with conditioning and good proper hair care and you will have the beautiful hair you are looking for. They are located right in the Laguna Hills Mall so are very safe, clean and convenient. I tell everyone to go there. I think you should have one hair stylist because they will work with you until you are very satisfied because going to different hair stylist does not solve the problem and working with one stylist or one hair salon they will get to know you and you will be a very satisfied and happy customer. I had a traumatic experience at another salon where the stylist/owner butchered my hair. I called Julian Han as soon as I got home from the other salon and made an appt for the same day. I was set up with Nathan and he fixed the botched job and my hair looks awesome. Nathan was very friendly, helpful and absolutely knew what he was doing. He made sure I was comfortable by explaining everything he was doing and the reason's why. I walked out of there feeling confident and with another appointment to see Nathan in a few months! Perfect color and hair that is touchable, perfect everytime...they know their business and the products are a must for the full hair treatment....love also being able to book in advance and have my appointment on the calender....great salon, have been going to Saverio for years and get nothing but compliments on my hair.... I found this salon through another site's searchengine, but thought I should make a post here as well. This salon is fantastic! I get my hair dyed red, which is really hard to do properly, and the coloring that I get here is amazing. I've been to the salon two times so far and had my hair done by Tara. She found a really great shade to compliment my hair/skin/face and was super nice and wonderful. I've had people ask me about my hair and I have given out cards to the salon. I've been told by many hairstylists that my thick, curly hair is not the easiest to cut, style or highlight. In fact, it's quite a challenge! However, I've never been disappointed at Julian Hans. I came back from India last month with an awful haircut so I went to Savario at Julian Hans to see if something could be done to it. As usual, what an amazing job he did! And yesterday, he did my color and its absolutely awesome. The color is just perfect and does wonders to my skin tone. Thank you Savario...you're the best!! I've been going to Julian Hans now for about 6 months, but I wish I would have found it sooner. Tara does my hair and I am always so thrilled with the result. Every time I sit in the chair, I ask her to surprise me. She does a great job of making my hair unique and creative and each time I go, it comes out a little different. I have always gotten bored easily with my hairstyle and have rarely found a stylist I will go to consistently, but I look forward to seeing Tara and seeing what she's going to do next. I love that I can just trust and know that she will always make my hair look as sassy as I feel. Thanks, Tara. Also, the other staff members are so genuinely kind and accommodating. I have been coming to Julian Hans salon for over 12 years now. After I moved out of Orange County to Whittier over 10 years ago, I tried some other reputable salons closer to home....my conclusion was that no one could duplicate the service I received at Julian Hans. Saverio (co-owner with wife Rosemary) is my colorist/stylist and he does an amazing job!!! I also know the other stylists and would trust each and every one of them to do my hair. I've been going to Julian Hans for five years and have never been happier. Even after I moved to Long Beach, I continue to drive to Orange County because I don't trust anyone else to color or cut my hair. Saverio does an outstanding job with the color and knows just how to cut my fine, short hair. Nazzi also does a great job with my hair (and my eyebrows). Roxanne, Nathan, Louis and others have cut my daughter's hair and always do a wonderful job. The entire staff is friendly and very accommodating. I've had my hair done at various salons. My hair is long and thick and likes to show gray hairs. Brittany matched the perfect color and took away all my gray. My hair looks great. She was very professional in her skills and the customer service at the salon has always been upscale. more

Diana has been cutting my hair for about 8 months now. She is a very talented stylist and listens carefully to you before cutting one single hair. Then she cuts your hair just the way you asked. My hair is not easy to work with, but she consistently gives me a cut I am happy with. I leave the salon looking great. All this plus such a warm and sweet personality. She will make you feel welcome and appreciated as a client. I highly recommend her and the Julian Hans Salon. They are all such nice people. Pros: She'll have you looking great! Everyone there is very nice and welcoming. I am served coffee or some sort of beverage while I wait and my hair is cut. All the hair stylists are very well trained and inform me on new hair products. They show me what was used to wash and style my hair as well as how to use the products.
