Johnnie's is very good but not great. Don't get me wrong, I am very fond of the pastrami sandwiches there, and also think the hot dogs and burgers are great. However, it's pricey compared to similar ""institutions"" like Tommy's, the Hat and Pink's, and the portions are nothing special. Unless you think a regular Whopper is an unimaginable amount of food you will not have to split a sandwich here. Overall definitely a cut above chain fast food places, not as good as real deli pastrami places like Langer's and Canter's, but well worth going to if you live on the Westside
Pros: Tasty, retro feel
Cons: Crowded, inconvenient
